Bo Jen Tang's Ten-Ingredient Tonic Soup is a recipe passed down through six generations of the Zhou family, containing: Angelica sinensis, Ligusticum striatum, Paeonia lactiflora, Rehmannia glutinosa, Panax ginseng, Poria cocos, Atractylodes macrocephala, Glycyrrhiza uralensis (processed), as well as Astragalus propinquus and Cinnamomum cassia, all simmered together. The herbal soup base is stewed very well and tastes delicious, but considering the price and portion size, it still feels a bit expensive. The staff taking orders at the front often have to help serve dishes, so the counter can sometimes be unattended. There aren't many seats in the store, and it's located in a narrow alley, so parking is not available.
