The guides performed their duties perfectly and were very kind. I wanted to give a tip, but I didn't have the time or opportunity to take out money. The tour spots are also very beautiful and great. Nangyuan, in particular, was absolutely fantastic. Even if you spent the whole day here, this tour would be complete. The only downside was the seasickness on the speedboat. It's certainly not the guide's fault, but the 90-minute journey there was really tough. However, the return trip was only 60 minutes and the water was calm, so it wasn't bad.
¡Tanto snorkel! Si eres como yo y te encanta hacer mucho snorkel y ver muchos peces tropicales diferentes, entonces este es el tour para ti. Vine sola (mujer de 19 años) y me sentí completamente segura y cómoda. Lo recomendaría.
Koh Nang Yuan, Thailand, is a heavenly island located in the eastern Gulf of Thailand, near the famous resort island of Koh Samui. Just a stone's throw from Koh Samui, its most distinctive feature is its unique 'H-shaped' sandbar. This small island is composed of three interconnected islets, linked by sandbars, forming a breathtaking natural landscape. The island's clear waters and soft white sandy beaches attract countless tourists. Koh Nang Yuan is renowned for its tranquility and beauty, offering simple yet comfortable accommodation facilities such as bungalows and villas. There are no motorized vehicles on the island; visitors can explore on foot or by small boat. Additionally, the island features a diving center, beachfront massage services, and other water sports facilities to cater to various needs. Although Koh Nang Yuan is relatively small, the services on the island are in no way inferior to those of larger resorts. The island's staff are warm and friendly, providing professional service to ensure all needs are met. Guided tours are also available to help visitors better explore the island and its surrounding waters. The dining on Koh Nang Yuan primarily features seafood. The island's restaurants offer fresh, seasonal seafood and local specialties. Dining on the beach while watching the sunset is a unique and romantic experience. The island's bars also provide a variety of drinks, allowing visitors to enjoy a wonderful time filled with laughter. Surrounding Koh Nang Yuan are Koh Samui and its affiliated islands, which boast magnificent underwater landscapes, perfect for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. In summary, Thailand's Koh Nang Yuan is an ideal destination for travelers due to its captivating natural beauty, simple yet comfortable resort facilities, warm and attentive service, delicious seafood dining, and the rich variety of water activities available in its surroundings.
• Scenery that is stunning and picture-perfect • Friendly, warm, and welcoming staff • Boat ride warning: very bumpy and exhausting—feels like a roller coaster on waves
C'est la meilleure excursion que j'aie jamais faite à Koh Samui. Si vous êtes ici, c'est un incontournable. C'est encore plus époustouflant qu'en photos et vidéos. J'adore tellement cet endroit. Je reviendrais sans hésiter.
Loved the trip and even learned to snorkel on Koh Nang Yuan with the guide on the boat. It totally made the trip. Stunning scenery on Koh Nang Yuan, plus Koh Tao. Lunch was a typical Thai buffet at Koh Tao Pier.
It was a very well-organized and excellent tour. They picked us up at the hotel lobby on time, and the tour proceeded according to the schedule. Ken, our guide, led the entire tour kindly and entertainingly, and the rest of the staff were also very friendly. The boat ride was a bit long, but once we arrived and started snorkeling, it was so beautiful that we forgot all about it. The island we visited last, Koh Phangan, was especially wonderful! It was so beautiful that I only wished we had more time there. Lunch wasn't outstanding, but it was still delicious. We had chicken curry, fried shrimp, and pineapple, among other things. It felt like a Thai home-cooked meal, which was fun to experience. I highly recommend this as a must-do tour in Koh Samui!
Friendly staff and great experience! Stunning views!
This tour is highly recommended! The main guide, Ah Wei, is Burmese and it's no exaggeration to say he's fluent in Thai, Chinese, and English, so there's absolutely no need to worry about language barriers. He patiently and meticulously explains everything in multiple languages. The snorkeling spots he takes everyone to are all beautiful. As long as you follow the guide, you don't have to worry. The guide will also show pictures and explain which aggressive fish species to watch out for. The overall itinerary isn't very rushed, but it does require physical stamina. Most of the group consisted of Europeans, so most explanations were in English. The guide also tried his best to quickly help everyone with various problems and questions. It is strongly recommended that anyone with a history of seasickness take motion sickness medication beforehand. The boat ride is quite long, and sometimes there are waves causing significant rocking, but overall, it's a comfortable ride. The day before, you'll be contacted by email regarding the hotel pick-up time. Then, the entire group will be taken to the pier, which is about a 30-minute drive from the bustling Chaweng area. Upon arrival, everyone will first register basic information and insurance, and motion sickness medication will also be provided. Afterward, you can have some toast with tea or coffee, and then there will be a very detailed itinerary explanation. After boarding in batches, you'll head directly to Koh Nang Yuan. Because Koh Nang Yuan is a private island, there are some regulations, such as not being allowed to bring fins or plastic bottles onto the island. Snorkeling equipment will only include a mask and snorkel. If you're afraid of getting scratched by coral, you'll need to bring your own water shoes, or there will be small vendors selling them before boarding, costing only one or two hundred baht, which isn't too expensive. If you follow the guide to snorkel at 2-3 spots, you won't have time to go to the viewpoint for the scenery, so you should ask the guide clearly beforehand to decide how you want to allocate your time. You can bring your own beach towel. If you don't want to snorkel at Koh Nang Yuan, you can lie on the beach and enjoy the sun, otherwise, beach chairs and umbrellas are subject to a fee. Next, you'll head to Koh Tao for lunch. Lunch is very simple but consists of Thai food, including some basic noodles, curry, and fruit. Then, the guide will take everyone to two snorkeling spots at Koh Tao (depending on weather conditions), and then you'll return to the pier. A tip box will be placed when disembarking, but tipping is not mandatory. If you truly feel the guide was excellent, it's definitely worth giving something. Then, a nine-seater van will take everyone back to their hotels, arriving after approximately 5 PM.
