Parque Nacional Marinho de Ang Thong de Lancha Rápida ou Barco Grande

We were three people with our baby on this trip and it was great. We had good food and the entire crew was nice and helpful. The viewpoints were also breathtaking. Because we were one of the first boats, we could reach everything easily and see it without many tourists. The price for the program is unbeatable. Highly recommended.

I took the trip to the speed boat with 5 people (3 kids - 16, 13, 11), and it was great. Great staff, stunning view! Snorkeling could be much longer and in a much richer area, but it was okay. The 500m climb to the observation point was tough, but worth it! Kayaking was fun, and the stops at different locations were just right. The staff maintained safety all the time, and the boat condition was perfect. The staff also distributed anti-seasickness pills to the passengers, and free cold water and soft drinks throughout the cruise. Again, the guide and all the staff were professional! Thanks. E. The trip is a bit touristy, but they split us into 3 speedboats and timed the stops differently, so the crowds dispersed well. The national park is beautiful. We highly recommend the short but brutally steep hike to the Ko Wua Ta Lap viewpoint, and the shorter, equally steep climb to Thale Nai for great views. The buffet lunch was good, we ate our fill, and water was available all day. The staff was nice, especially our crew leader who was incredibly helpful and took care of everyone. The only downside was the morning ride from Koh Samui—the waves were high and the boat was tossing badly (seasickness bags were in action). Because of this, nobody wanted to sit at the front where the tossing was worst, making the back area crowded. Other than that, the trip was amazing and well worth it. They also provide motion sickness pills on-site.

The scenery on the boat was amazing, and there were soft cushions on the top deck for sunbathing. The tour guide was very thoughtful, explaining things and leading the kayaking experience, and also introducing the geographical environment along the way. Lunch was chicken curry rice enjoyed on the boat, which was also quite good overall. The scenery on the island was absolutely stunning! Although there were some very tiring stairs to climb, it was completely worth it. Most of the group were Westerners, and it felt quite unique to see very few Asians. We followed their lead and lay down on the beach to sunbathe! It was a wonderful experience. On the way back, even though Pig Island wasn't on our itinerary, we actually passed by it and they told us about it.

We took a trip on a large ship without kayaking. Don't expect anything luxurious from this trip, but the ship's employees are trying very hard and making the most of it, for which we thank them very much. The most beautiful thing about this trip is the nature. Nature is incredible, the views cannot be conveyed through any photograph.

The Ang Thong Marine Park trip was a great experience overall. The viewpoint climb was challenging but absolutely worth it for the breathtaking panorama. Kayaking was a lot of fun, and the guides were friendly and attentive throughout. A light breakfast (banana & bread) was provided, and lunch was tasty. The speedboat was fast and convenient, though the sea got choppy at times with some splashes — perhaps a big boat would feel safer. On the downside, the snorkeling was underwhelming: coral didn’t look very fresh, fish were sparse, and visibility was cloudy. More kayaking time would’ve been welcome. Also, we had an unexpected stop in Koh Phangan to pick up more passengers, which added roughly an hour of transfer time — had we known, we might have booked directly from there. Still, the highlights made it a memorable day.

The transfer took about 45 minutes by car and another 1.5 hours by boat. It was quite a long journey as the national park is quite a distance away. Snorkeling at Ko Wua Ta Lap was only in a small area. The climb to the viewpoint was quite steep but worth the effort for a great view at the top.

船に乗っている時間が長かったですが展望デッキでのんびり景色を見ながら過ごせました。国立公園はものすごく綺麗で頂上からの景色は格別でした。開く価値ありです。シュノーケリングはしたもののは魚はいなかったです。ビーチでのんびりするのがいいですね。ガイドさんも親切でした。
