Experiência na Reserva Natural de Elefantes de Phuket

The half-day I spent at the elephant sanctuary was truly wonderful. When choosing among many sanctuaries, I opted for one that didn't involve direct contact activities like feeding or bathing, as I believed unfamiliar human touch could stress the elephants. Instead, I enjoyed the meal preparation activity, and while it was a bit sad to hear their stories when meeting the elephants, I was relieved to know they are now living healthy lives!

The sanctuary is vast, amongst lush greenery. Facilities are clean and well-maintained. I appreciate that they don’t allow touching or bathing of the elephants, prioritising the safety of the visitors, as well as the elephants’ welfare. You get to see the elephants in their element, as they roam freely. Our guide was also warm and knowledgable. Loved every minute of it!

An absolutely unforgettable experience at Phuket Elephant Nature Reserve. That hands-off philosophy was exactly why I chose it, and it made the experience even more meaningful. The guides were passionate and educational, sharing each elephant’s story with so much care, and you can feel the sanctuary puts welfare above tourism. Watching these majestic animals roam freely in a natural environment was humbling and beautiful. If you want an authentic, responsible elephant experience in Phuket, this is the place. Amazing, ethical, and deeply moving.

It was fun making and giving food, and I could feel the facility's genuine dedication to protecting the elephants.

Amazing experience!! Our guide Porche was just the best. We took the tour with cooking and the food was also very good. Highly recommend this place 'cause there is no touching or beathing the elephants ❤️ The place is very well taken care of and the animals as well. Thank you!

Lovely sanctuary, very educational and seems quite ethical. There was no elephant riding, scrubbing, etc. The elephants are rescued from touristy places and living with elephant caretakers. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Before choosing this project, we looked at many similar products. Although activities like bathing elephants seemed fun, the water didn't look very clean, so we still chose this one. More importantly, it's very close to Bang Tao Beach where we're staying, which is crucial because Phuket is very congested. Plus, the compact 90-minute schedule allows us more time to explore other activities on the island.
