A really great tour to get an overview of historic Tokyo and Japan in a single day, we didn’t have much time in Kyoto so it was perfect to see a lot, our guide was knowledgeable and kept everyone’s energy up over a big day. The only downside of this is you don’t get much time at each stop, keep in mind that this is a quick tour of everything and you’ll be fine or choose to go to less stops on another tour where you can spend longer.

Our whole family enjoyed the tour very much. We initially wanted to visit these places on our own but we learnt so much about the places, history, culture from the tour guide! It’s a tour worth going for. Time given to explore at each place was adequate. We even had time to buy some snacks after taking photos at Kiyomizu-dera temple.

Our tour guide KC was amazing and so knowledgeable! My partner and I learned so much from him; he had answers to all our questions and took pictures of us at the destinations. You see so much on this tour, and I was worried that it would feel rushed, but we had plenty of time at each location. I would definitely recommend this tour and any tours with this company.

The guide was perfect and easy to understand. We loved the whole experience. The temples were amazing.

The old guide was wonderful and very experienced, and the young guide was very funny. Both are the best guides in Kyoto.

This is one of the better tours we've joined when we were in Japan. Both the morning and afternoon guides were knowledgeable and provided plenty of details about the places of interest. The pacing and duration of each visit were just right. At the end of the tour, the guide also arranged for hotel drop-off for some participants, which was very thoughtful.

Having a knowledgeable guide is the best way to learn about the interesting places covered in the tour. Tammy definitely made the tour worth it. We enjoyed her sharing and how she was able to answer the questions from the group. Thank you very much, Tammy!

Momo was our awesome tour guide! She was always looking out for us in the hot weather. This tour is perfect for first time visitors who want a sampling of the major sites in Kyoto. The bus pickup site is also conveniently located across from Kyoto Main Station, though their office is at the basement level of the Avanti hotel building, so take the escalator/stairs down, and you’ll find them.
