Passeio de caiaque e snorkel na Gold Coast

道路の横で待ち合わせでした。いくつかの会社がカヌーを積んで路駐してスタンバイしていたので、クルックの予約画面を見せて、ここの会社のツアーなのか聞き回りました。地図の場所が大体なので、とにかくカヌーを積んでいる車に積極的に聞いてもらうといいと思います。朝の7時半からで、時間より前にきちんといてくれて、予約の名前を呼んでくれました。ガイドさんと待ち合わせするのに少しドキドキしますが、わかりやすいので、安心して向かってください。また、私の場合前日から、ガイドさんより連絡をもらい、天気が思わしくないから、10時半スタートのものを7時半のものに変更したらどうかと提案をGmailからいただきました。シュノーケリングも朝の方が綺麗に見えると思うよとおしえてもらい、朝起きるのが心配ではありましたが、より綺麗な海を見たいので変更しました。天気に応じて、わざわざ声をかけてくれるくらい親切で、感動しました。このメールのやり取りのおかげで、安心して現地で楽しめることを確信できた出来事でした。実際に女性4人が集まり、わたしともう1人のペアでカヌーに乗り、2人は1人ずつカヌーに乗っていました。シングルとペアどっちがいい？と聞いてくれたり、初めてするかどうか聞いてくれそれに応じてペアを組んでくれよかったです。写真ルートや流れを説明してくれたので英語がそこまでわからなくても問題なく理解できました。いざ、やってみてとても楽しく、ガイドさんは鳥の説明をしてくれたり、色々なお話をしてくれていました。カヌーを漕いでるときも写真を撮ってくれ、一生の思い出になりました。防水リュック、ウェットスーツやシュノーケルを貸してくれました。自分ではタオルと水着は必ず必要だなと思います。また着替え場所はないので、あらかじめ水着を着用し参加することをおすすめします。海の中の魚たちはたくさん綺麗に見れました。岩の、近くにいるものや、少し深いところにいるものなど、本当に綺麗でした。他の会社も同じ場所でシュノーケリングをしてたり、船が少し深いところにあったりとありますが、問題なく楽しめました。またゴールドコーストに来た際は必ずやるアクティビティの1つです。

When you meet at the meeting point, you can leave your luggage in the trailer (small van), and they will provide you with a waterproof bag for important items, snacks, water, etc. (It's a waterproof bag that you roll down from the top and secure with a belt.) Then, they give you a life vest, and you walk to where the kayaks are. They briefly teach you how to paddle, and then you kayak to the island. It's not difficult, but your arms might get a bit tired. It's safe because the water isn't very deep. After arriving at the island, you walk a short distance to the snorkeling spot. They give you 40 minutes for snorkeling, and even people who can't swim can easily do it because it's not deep. The water isn't super clear because it's shallow, but there are many fish to see. (It's not Bohol-level snorkeling.) In between, you can come out and have simple snacks like chocolate cookies or fruit, and water. Afterward, you kayak back to the original spot. Throughout this entire process, they take many photos and upload them directly to Facebook, so if they ask, "Who wants photos?" make sure to say "Me, me!" and get lots of pictures. I was very worried because I'm afraid of water, but it was safe, and the water wasn't deep anywhere, so I enjoyed it comfortably. There were also many people who came with young children. It's enjoyable enough to make memories. Oh, and make sure to apply plenty of sunscreen~~~~

It rained heavily in the morning, but the activity wasn't canceled and proceeded as planned. Fortunately, the rain gradually stopped, which was great. Paddling the kayak with my 11-year-old daughter was tough, but the guide towed us and stayed by our side, looking after us until the end. For snorkeling, there were many fish, but also a lot of sand, which made the water cloudy and visibility poor. There wasn't much variety in the fish species either. The guides paid a lot of attention to safety and it was nice that they provided simple snacks like fruits and cookies. The activity lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes. I recommend it.

A truly enjoyable trip! The kayaking was long and comfortable, with beautiful scenery. We also got to admire handsome men and beautiful women sunbathing on the beach and yachts. After snorkeling, there was plenty of time for photos and snacks. After the activity, there's a fish market nearby where you can buy delicious Moreton Bay Bugs.

C'est une expérience formidable de faire du canoë. Le personnel est aimable et désireux de donner des leçons aux débutants. L'eau est trop froide à cause de l'hiver, mais le chocolat chaud qu'ils partagent sauve la journée. Une expérience géniale et recommandée ! S'il y avait des installations pour changer de vêtements mouillés après, tout serait parfait.

The kayaking and snorkeling were really awesome! We were able to fit 3 people in one kayak since my son is still small. We made a pit stop on dry land and caught a glimpse of many little crabs. They even managed to prepare some snacks after snorkeling. It was a worthwhile experience!

The whole 2.5 hour trip was great! Only AUD69 pp you get to experience kayaking and snorkeling with all the equipment provided - definitely worth it! The tour guides are all very friendly and guiding us through the tour. Something you must join in your Gold Coast trip.

The canoeing and snorkeling were very fulfilling. The light meal after snorkeling was also appreciated. I had expected to be able to do a solo canoe as a single participant, but it was a shame that I had to share a boat with someone else due to the number of boats and preparation constraints.

What a great experience, trying something new with the kids (mine were older 12+). Kayaking was just long enough to feel like a good challenge and triumphantly tired at the end. It was our first time snorkeling for most of us; the guides were helpful and this was a shallow and easy location with lots of fish to see. The water was a comfortable temperature. The guide Nelson was helpful and made us feel confident that we could do it! Some light snacks and fruit were provided midway through. Afterwards we went to Charis Restaurant about 1 km down the road to rinse off and change, watch the pelicans being fed, and feast on fish and chips.
