Meio Dia de Snorkeling na Ilha Wavebreak

A family of five, including two nieces/nephews, participated. The pickup service was on time and excellent. After a 20-minute boat ride to the snorkeling spot, we spent time snorkeling, and if we got tired, we could rest on the island. There were more fish than expected, but not many varieties. The water was not as cold as I thought. We had a pleasant time, and the staff were very professional and friendly. However, don't expect shower facilities. Bring as little luggage as possible and remember to pack a towel.

It was very windy and a bit cold that day. But it was actually fun, there were many fish at the wave break. There were also large fish that would bite people's fingers. My finger was bitten by a large fish haha.

Before departure, the diving company will check if a pick-up service is needed, and we did use this service. On the day of the activity, there was a bit of confusion at the dive shop when signing the consent forms and changing clothes; I felt the process could be smoother, but perhaps it was due to the large number of people that day? Once we set sail, things went much more smoothly, and even family members who couldn't swim or speak English enjoyed playing in the water. The instructors were very enthusiastic and loved their jobs, helping every member of our group enjoy the activity. Some tea and water were provided on the boat. I recommend bringing a waterproof phone pouch and a waterproof bag for important items on board, leaving your change of clothes at the dive shop. Overall, for our first snorkeling experience, it was a very pleasant trip, highly recommended.

The coaches are nice and the whole activity lasted longer than expected, from 1000-1430 (back to the hop on point)

The Scuba Dive team kept my family safe and made our experience truly enjoyable from hotel pickup to drop-off. The snorkeling was amazing, and it felt like time stood still during the 4-hour experience. It was just me and the fish. My family had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this experience for all families, from young children to older children, as it will satisfy all ages and swimming experience levels.

The instructor's explanations were clear, and they took great care of us throughout the trip, staying very close by. Although there weren't many types of fish at the island, the staff prepared fish food for me to feed them. I was thrilled to see three or four different species swimming around me. It's a highly recommended itinerary.

A wonderful experience! Safety was a high priority, and everything was well-arranged. We saw many fish, making it a very worthwhile activity.

¡Lo pasamos genial! Los instructores son muy profesionales, definitivamente me sentí en buenas manos. El estado del equipo era excelente, la ubicación fue un poco difícil de encontrar, tuvimos que caminar bastante por el muelle para encontrarlos. Una señalización más temprana sería útil. ¡Alquilamos una GoPro por un precio razonable, lo cual fue genial! Sin embargo, el lugar para hacer snorkel fue un poco decepcionante. Solo pudimos ver realmente 3 especies de peces y una o dos medusas. Fue muy útil que nos proporcionaran algo de comida para alimentar a los peces, lo que los acercó mucho a nosotros. Sin embargo, después de una hora, prácticamente vimos todo lo que había que ver. Fue bueno que la ubicación estuviera cerca de la orilla, lo que nos permitió ir a la playa y descansar un poco y disfrutar del sol en lugar de simplemente regresar al barco. El agua estaba bastante turbia, lo que significaba que los peces tenían que estar muy cerca para poder ver mucho, pero de nuevo, la comida ayudó a acercarlos lo suficiente a nosotros. La actividad también fue bastante libre y fácil, nos entregaron el equipo y exploramos por nuestra cuenta de forma independiente. ¡Bueno para snorkelistas principiantes!
