Excursão Noturna para Observação de Vagalumes no Parque Nacional de Springbrook, Natural Bridge

Thanks to our tour guides Logan and Steve, we had a great night with the small group. It was worth the money as we learned a lot about the habitat and species in the national park. We were able to find decaying trees, spiders, glow-worms, and even some ghost fungus! The tour ended with stargazing on our way back to the city; the countless stars are the gem of the Gold Coast. Thanks for the great night!

It was quite a magical experience. Our guide was friendly, helpful, and informative. He brought us out to see a sky full of stars and patiently explained the constellations. It was lovely. We then proceeded to see the glow worms, which was a delight, and seeing them in pitch darkness added an element of adventure. We got lost for a while but regrouped afterward. Take (the name of our guide) was patient and very nice, explaining facts to us, telling jokes, and including us in conversations despite being in a Japanese group. Thanks for all the effort.

Our guide, Chuck, has lived in Australia for over 20 years, so he knows a lot about the country. On the way there, he talked not only about the glow worms but also about Australian history, which was very interesting! During the tour, he guided us while explaining various plants, which we enjoyed! The glow worms were more beautiful than we could have imagined, and we were deeply moved. On the way back, he even included stargazing, making it a very satisfying night trip!

Lovely experience and kind guides. Worms were very special and the experience was unique. I liked the importance placed on the trees too. The only improvement to recommend would be the transfer, the bus driver drove very fast and we felt a bit car sick when we arrived. But on the way back, the drive was heaps better.

The tour was magical! Seeing the glow worms as well as the glowing mushrooms on a full moon day at Natural Bridge was a marvel. Our guide, Logon, was knowledgeable, the itinerary was well-paced, and the transfer was very comfortable and easy. It’s definitely great value for money if you want a unique night-time adventure in Springbrook National Park.

The tour guide was awesome. He’s very knowledgeable and made good introduction in both languages. At first, I was a bit worried that he may not be paying enough attention to English-speaking participants because the majority was Japanese-speaking, but he definitely did a great job! He’s very chatty as well, so even if you’re travelling on your own, you won’t feel lonely haha. Also, the glow worms were very bright, so even if you’re just using your phone to take photos, you can get pretty good ones.

Our guide and driver, Mr. Ta Ke, was not only well-versed in glow worms, the Australian environment, and natural ecology, but also had a rich knowledge of constellations. He shared his insights along the way with great care. Both us adults and our two little ones (aged seven and five) thoroughly enjoyed this journey. It was a truly rare and remarkable experience that we won't forget. Highly recommended for families seeking a delightful and educational adventure!

There was no exact time for the transportation, and I couldn't contact anyone, but luckily I eventually got a ride. Also, these weren't real fireflies, but they were still quite beautiful. However, there were a lot of people that day, and we couldn't watch for too long. We left the cave in less than ten minutes. Finally, after the viewing, they took us to see the stars 💫.
