Shine was an excellent guide. I can tell he is very passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge about the history of Taichung, especially the buildings. Do this tour if you enjoy learning the history of the place you are visiting that you wouldn’t get just walking around by yourself. The Ubike ride itself was very easy - all flat. I also enjoyed the dessert stops for bubble tea and pineapple green bean taro on ice - excellent on a hot day! Shine also took heaps of photos and edited and sent them to me same day!

What a wonderful guided tour! Cycling leisurely through the alleyways, listening to Chester's insightful and engaging explanations, allowed us to discover a different side of Taichung. We were truly captivated by the historical figures, stories, backgrounds, and architecture of past eras! Plus, the delicious food and drinks at the Fifth Market made it a truly rewarding trip!

This was my most satisfying trip. Chester truly knows Taichung inside and out; no cultural or historical topic is too difficult for him. He is humorous and engaging, and his explanations are very lively.

It was a lot of fun. Cycling through the main streets and small alleys of Taichung's old district was very pleasant. Led by the guide, we weaved through the area, listening to their explanations, and discovered that even inconspicuous old houses have stories behind them. This tour allowed visitors to better understand the local history and culture, as well as the impact of the Japanese colonial period. It was a very meaningful and special experience!

This tour is not worth the price and time. Many delicious food, good service, will come back next time.
