If you use the Seibu 1-Day Pass to Seibu Tokorozawa Station, you'll need to transfer to a bus. Taking a taxi out of laziness would cost ¥2500, so it's not very close. It's recommended that if you can take the train to JR Higashi-Tokorozawa, it will be much closer, only about a 10-minute walk. Along the way, you can also enjoy various anime-themed manhole covers (like a treasure hunt). However, all the books inside the museum are in Japanese, so if you can't read Japanese, you can only enjoy the atmosphere. Be sure not to miss the timed light and shadow projections on the large bookshelf. The Musashino Reiwa Shrine outside the museum is very modern, but it closes at 4 PM. It's a bit of a shame that I missed the time to visit and get a Goshuin this time.

Purchasing tickets and entering was very convenient, and I was happy to be there in person. I bought a standard ticket, which allowed me to visit all areas except for the main exhibition in the exhibition zone and the exhibition on the 3rd floor. You must see the projection mapping show (it runs periodically, so you won't have to wait too long). I also recommend visiting the Reiwa Shrine nearby. (It's not a short walk from the station.)

The weather is pleasant, making it a great place to visit on weekends, with occasional market events.

Kengo Kuma, who is passionate about using various materials to transform architectural styles, designed the Kadokawa Culture Museum using 20,000 pieces of Shandong granite to form an irregular polyhedron. Inside, there are five floors. The first-floor gallery serves as a manga and light novel library and art gallery, housing 50,000 volumes for anime fans to browse.

A new attraction in Saitama, a suburb of Tokyo, with a very stylish exterior. The most anticipated bookshelf theater, Hon棚劇場, was also the venue for YOASOBI's Kohaku performance. It's a pilgrimage site full of ritualistic feeling. If you can read Japanese, it's well worth spending an afternoon here reading books! There are also many great restaurants nearby worth exploring.

A very distinctive building, with a large number of books and exhibits inside. It's worth spending a little travel time to visit, and if the weather is good, you can even see Mount Fuji in the distance.
