Trilha Ancestral de Pingtung Alangyi | Excursão de um dia

I registered for this activity two months ago. On the day, I went to the meeting point in a happy mood. Gradually, all the participants for this trip arrived. Everyone happily got to know each other and chatted. When 8:30, the scheduled meeting time, arrived, the shuttle bus still hadn't appeared. By 8:35, it was still nowhere to be seen, and when we called the shuttle driver, their phone was off. Everyone started to get anxious. I thought to myself, this trip was so hard to schedule, and everyone else also had to work hard to arrange their holidays. Would it really be canceled like this? Then we started calling customer service. The first call went unanswered, making everyone even more anxious. Fortunately, customer service eventually picked up. After understanding the situation, the customer service representative quickly helped us resolve the problem. In about 40 minutes, the bus arrived to pick us up, allowing us to complete the rest of our itinerary happily and successfully. Although this trip had its imperfections and some scares, the customer service's prompt and effective handling of the situation after the fact made up for these shortcomings. I will still continue to use this platform to plan my travel itineraries.

Due to regulations, the entrance fee for the Alangyi Historic Trail is a fixed NT$3,000, which includes a guided tour. This tour package helps you form a group and arranges transportation from Hengchun East Gate to the northern and southern ends of the Alangyi Historic Trail. It also handles the Alangyi entrance permit application. The accompanying driver will provide a simple commentary along the way, enhancing the trip's richness. For those who don't drive or can't find enough people to share the entrance fee, booking this type of tour is very convenient. Our group of 9 people took a minibus, and everyone had a row to themselves, which was very comfortable!

The driver was enthusiastic and friendly. The tour guide, Mr. Pan Zhengwenlong, is a local from Xuhai. He was very attentive to everyone's safety along the way. Not only is he intimately familiar with everything about the trail, but his extensive knowledge truly makes him unchallengeable – he's incredibly impressive! With his professional guidance, everyone gained a lot.

This time, we joined a Klook tour to Alangyi Historic Trail (Langjiao-Beinan Historic Trail). We're grateful to the enthusiastic driver, Mr. Tu, and two professional guides who led us from Nantian, Taitung Daren, to Xuhai Village, Mudan, Pingtung, completing the trail hike and experiencing the beauty of Taiwan. It left a deep impression!

During the holidays, I joined my family for a hike on the Alangyi Historic Trail. Walking between the beautiful mountains and the sea, after completing the high-elevation detour, we immediately encountered the rocky coastal path. The moment the waves splashed us was truly thrilling. This trip to the ancient trail was a beautiful and exciting memory.

I was very lucky to participate in the full line opening. The driver arrived on time at the designated spot, and our guide, Sister Fang, was very attentive to everyone's needs and shared many stories about the ancient trail. River tracing was a lot of fun; although I was soaked from the waist down, I dried off quickly as I walked. It was a great experience to tick off my bucket list!

I finally made it to Alangyi, a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime! The weather today was cloudy and cool, which was very pleasant. Our guide, Sister Afang, explained everything very clearly, helping us understand the history of the Alangyi Ancient Trail even better. The coastline is truly beautiful. You definitely have to come if you get the chance.

The coastline is beautiful. Even though we hiked Alangyi in winter, we still got sunburnt. There's also a chance of getting wet from the waves, so it's more comfortable to bring an extra pair of clean socks and shoes.

It was rare to encounter slightly better weather on May 9th, with less sun. Along the way, there were introductions to the route and reminders of important matters, allowing everyone to gain a better understanding of Xuhai's history (remember the precautions before departure!).
