Pingtung | Experiência de Submarino Semi-Submersível no Lago Houbihu em Kenting

It's a bit hard to find the address using only Google Maps. It's better to search directly for "Kenting Sea World" or combine both methods. It's located in the entertainment boat waiting room at the southern end of Houbihu Yacht Marina and offers many exciting marine activities. The design of the semi-submersible sightseeing boat allows visitors to admire the rich coral reefs and fish ecology underwater through the glass cabin. Children will be very happy. The entire trip, including entering and exiting the port and security checks, takes about forty minutes, with actual viewing time being around twenty minutes.

On the semi-submarine, you can enjoy the sea breeze, watch the waves, and admire the scenery from the deck. Inside the cabin, through the transparent glass, you can see a rich variety of corals, sea turtles, and fish. The sunlight shining into the ocean in delicate rays is beautiful. The captain will provide commentary while sailing, and when reaching the open sea, will inform us that it's a good time to go down to the cabin to observe marine life, also reminding passengers to pay attention to safety.

Sitting in the semi-submarine, you can see corals and various fish under the sea. This time, I was pleasantly surprised to see a sea turtle swimming. The guide uncle was very witty and humorous.

A great way to get close to the underwater world. There are many coral reefs and fish. The boat ride is about 20-30 minutes, but it's recommended to take motion sickness medication.

The port's appearance could be improved, but the coral restoration after heading out to sea is quite good, which I personally think makes it worthwhile. However, the return journey can be quite bumpy, so those prone to seasickness should be careful.

Convenient and fun, you can directly admire the beautiful underwater scenery through the windows on the bottom of the boat. The cabin has air conditioning, making it comfortable, cool, and not stuffy.

It's a lot of fun, and the underwater world is beautiful! If you can't conveniently snorkel or dive in Kenting, this is a great alternative!

The water at the pier is murky. You can stay on top and enjoy the sea breeze. When it's out at sea, the water clears up, and we got to see so many different types of fish in their natural habitat. A unique experience.

It was a really cool first experience! Although the weather wasn't great that day, which might have reduced visibility, we could still see quite a bit, and even spotted a sea turtle (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)! The boat was incredibly stable; even my companion, who usually gets seasick, agreed it was steady. Though staring at the water for too long still made them a little dizzy. Overall, it was a great experience 👍

The staff were friendly, and the captain was especially kind. It was great to see the scenery from the boat and also the underwater world from the semi-submarine. If you can't snorkel, I think the semi-submarine experience would be a good alternative. I only expected to see fish, but it was wonderful to see turtles too.
