Aventura de Meio Dia na Natureza com Trekking da Rafflesia em Ipoh

The tour was awesome! We got to see a rafflesia flower and the guides were really helpful. The team brought us by car from the HQ to the orang asli village where we began our hike. The trail was challenging enough and the guides were friendly and helped us along the way. The guide even help make a hiking stick out of a branch for us to help with the trail. Then once we got back to the HQ, we were surprised by the lunch that was laid out for us in such a special way and it was so tasty. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to go for other tour with this company again in the future. highly recommended! 👍

Saya baru-baru ini pergi mendaki hutan bersama keluarga saya untuk melihat Rafflesia dan ia adalah pengalaman yang luar biasa yang tidak akan saya lupakan. Kami memasuki perkampungan Orang Asli buat kali pertama. Kami merakam gambar rama-rama Raja Brooke. Pendakian membawa kami jauh ke dalam hutan hujan, dikelilingi oleh pokok-pokok, bunyi serangga dan udara segar. Pemandu pelancong kami ramah dan berpengetahuan, menunjukkan banyak tumbuhan menarik di sepanjang jalan. Melihat Rafflesia yang sedang mekar adalah peristiwa yang jarang berlaku dan bertuah - ia hanya mekar selama beberapa hari (3-4 hari). Apabila kami akhirnya sampai ke Rafflesia, ia sedang mekar sepenuhnya - bunga besar yang kelihatan pelik dengan warna coklat kemerahan. Seluruh pendakian terasa seperti perjalanan ke dunia tersembunyi. Jika anda menikmati alam semula jadi, tidak kisah sedikit kotor dan ingin melihat sesuatu yang benar-benar unik. Saya sangat mengesyorkan pengalaman ini. Ingatlah untuk memakai kasut yang sesuai, membawa air, dan pergi dengan pemandu pelancong.

our tour guides was nice and professional，picked us up right on time. the trekking was not very hard and the forest is amazing. saw two blooming rafflesia flowers and several bulbs. had lunch at nice place by the lake. amazing tour, highly recommend

Pengalaman yang hebat dan dapat melihat rafflesia serta kupu-kupu Rajah Brooke yang menakjubkan! Pemandu sangat membantu dan sabar. Pendakian tidak mudah dan boleh curam. Tetapi berbaloi!!!! ☺️

選了早上的時段減少會有午後陣雨的可能，下訂行程有專人隨時聯絡讓人安心許多，看這朵花沒有確定性，所以也是抱著很緊張又期待的心情～當天帶領我們的導遊小姐人非常親切，又可愛，很久沒爬山害怕路段有一點陡，所以有自備登山杖～搭配當地導遊很幸運地，終於看到了大王花，還到了蝴蝶生長區看到了亞洲蠻大的蝴蝶，開心一整天

We had an extraordinary morning, and we were amazed by the rafflesias. Our guide 'EL' is a very friendly and kind person who always provided explanations to all our questions, in addition to giving us his constant smile. Definitely 100% recommendable.

Before the tour, I received a polite message stating that the Rafflesia bloom only lasts for 3-4 days, and while it's a matter of luck to see one, if it's not blooming, I could switch to tubing or other tours, and refunds were also available. This made me hesitate. So, I asked if trekking was possible on a day when I would only be stopping in Ipoh. I received a reply with a photo saying it was blooming now! They promptly arranged a trekking tour for me. They were very flexible with the timing, which was a great help. It was a 10-minute drive from the meeting point to the office, where I could leave my luggage and change. Then, it was a 20-minute drive to the village at the foot of the mountain where the Rafflesia could be seen. The trek from the Orang Asli village was about a 1-hour round trip. I saw insects and butterflies I had never seen before. Millipedes several times thicker than those in Japan (with a similar feel when touched), caterpillars, light blue ferns, green bananas, and leaves larger than my face – all were fascinating. The Rafflesia suddenly appeared along the path, like a red flower illuminated in the mountains. You could even touch it. I hadn't known about the buds or sepals until I saw them. Just as I finished seeing the Rafflesia, it started to rain heavily. We half-ran down to the village through the downpour and returned to the office by car. All the meals they prepared were delicious, and the sound of the river was truly wonderful. The lampshade was a sunbird's nest! This was amazing. All the staff were kind and always happy to chat, and they spoke well with me despite my poor English. Thank you very much.
