The latest check-in time and boarding time are only 10 minutes apart, so if you have a long journey, remember to leave early. We will visit Pengpeng Beach (the Taiwanese Maldives), Yuanbei Island, and Niaoyu Island, with a stunning interlude of terns flying around the boat. In addition, all water activities (kayaking, SUP, snorkeling, swings, slides) can be experienced once, with coaches nearby to assist. The guided tour and explanations are very rich, allowing first-time visitors to Penghu to better understand the local history and culture, and also feel the guide's love for Penghu 👍👍. Water activities are so much fun, but rowing is quite strenuous. The slides and swings on the boat are thrillingly high. The set lunch at Niaoyu was delicious, and you can buy authentic, tasty, and affordable anchovies there. The island cruise offers magnificent basalt landscapes and seagulls soaring everywhere, creating romantic memories for visitors. Finally, there's a cute 'peace turtle' bread for an afternoon tea snack, almost too adorable to eat.

This was my first trip to Penghu. The tours offered by the accommodation provider were more expensive than those on Klook, and since the itineraries were the same, I ultimately chose the tours from that platform. I found the boarding location, boarding time, and return time to be clear. However, on the day of the East Sea tour, the weather was cloudy with slightly rough seas, which was really uncomfortable for those prone to seasickness. A lunch was provided, but I personally found it very ordinary and didn't have much appetite. For snorkeling, there was no snorkel mouthpiece, so for beginners, only providing a mask made it quite inconvenient and difficult to breathe. The only highlight was the seagull feeding tour, which was quite interesting. The captain was also very thoughtful, periodically asking if anyone was seasick and suggesting I sit at the front of the boat to avoid discomfort.

From 7 to 8 AM, the Qitou Visitor Center transforms from empty to bustling. Coming to Penghu in the summer means water activities, and the boat operators offer a variety of fun and exciting marine adventures. Plus, there are coaches to help take photos, which you can download from Facebook later, preserving precious memories for everyone.

The service was great, and the captain's commentary was humorous and engaging. At the end, they even gave us a pineapple turtle bun, which the kids absolutely loved.

The service staff are witty, humorous, and easy to get along with. The itinerary arrangements were all very good.

#Donghai Island Hopping Day Tour We purchased the Xīnlai Fā Donghai Day Tour from Klook, and the entire day was packed with activities, offering great value for money. First, we went fishing in the coral reef area. If the fish were too small, the instructor would ask us to release them. Next, there were many water activities: snorkeling, kayaking, SUP, sea magic carpet, sea slide, and sea swing. For lunch, we enjoyed fishing village cuisine on Niaoyu Island. In the afternoon, we cruised past the spectacular basalt columnar rocks on the back of Niaoyu Island, which somewhat resembled the legendary Blue Grotto. Then, we fed migratory birds—terns. A large flock of terns flew over, reminding us of feeding eagles 🦅 and seagulls in Ine Bay, Japan. It turns out Taiwan can offer such an experience too. We landed on Pengpeng Beach to walk along the waves. The sea at Pengpeng Beach was so blue and clear. The last stop was Yuanbei Island, where we could go to the highest point on the island to enjoy the scenery.

The overall service was good. The captain's commentary was humorous, and the water activities were fun. They also paid close attention to the group members; when someone was too tired during kayaking, they would help push them back. The water activities also created a lively atmosphere, and everyone seemed to have a great time. It's a shame the waves were too strong, preventing us from seeing better scenery. I look forward to joining again next time.

Unfortunately, we couldn't snorkel that day due to the strong waves, which was a pity. The lunch was very thoughtfully prepared, featuring local specialty dishes served family-style. The whole day's itinerary was quite fulfilling, though it was a shame we couldn't snorkel, feed the seagulls, or catch any fish. We'll try to experience those next time if we have the chance.
