Once Upon A Thai Spa and Massage em Phrom Phong, Bangkok

I booked the traditional massage, and while it was great, it felt like I had to endure the pain. But I think that was my fault, as I opted for 'hard' pressure, thinking I could handle it, and was too shy to tell her. Lol, the masseuse was an old lady, and she was really nice and accommodating, both before and after the massage. I loved the complimentary ice cream (Thai tea), hot tea, and warm compress after the massage.

I had a 90-minute Thai massage with Thai herbal balm. Before the massage, you can choose the intensity level and which body parts to focus on. I liked the masseuse's attentiveness, the cleanliness of the salon, and the atmosphere. I will gladly return.

Overall, it was a nice spa and I had a great experience there. However, there were quite limited slots available, as the original date and time I wanted was not available after I made the booking on my first day in Bangkok, so I had to change it to the next day.

The store was very clean and the staff were all friendly, which was great. I'm getting a massage every day, and I deliberately booked a program with a scrub because I wanted to try various options, and it seems I made a good choice. Although you have to go up to the 4th floor by stairs, the foot bath area and restrooms are on an intermediate floor, so it felt like a short break, and it wasn't difficult. They let me choose between scrub salt and aroma oil, and the room condition was also good. When I was getting the scrub, the ceiling had lights that looked like stars, and it was so beautiful and pleasant to see when I turned over in the middle. Although they didn't focus on the specific areas I wanted, they did it rhythmically and evenly overall, so I drifted off to sleep in the middle. The final ending tea and ice cream were also delicious. When I asked for a taxi to my accommodation, they called one for me, and they even opened and held the door when I entered and left, which made me feel good. I plan to get a Thai massage one more time before going to the airport on my last day.

The location is good, about a 7-minute walk from EmQuartier :) The therapist was gentle and skilled! I liked how we had our own shower in the room too! A Dyson hair dryer was provided, just so you know!! The coconut ice cream was tasty 😋

I revisited a spa I stumbled upon during my last trip to Bangkok and absolutely loved. This time, too, I was fortunate to have a wonderful therapist, and the treatment was superb. While other spas have significantly increased their prices, this one still offers great value for money, so I hope they continue their excellent work. It's currently my favorite spa.

It's within a 10-minute walk from the BTS station, the environment is very clean, and the whole process was very comfortable. The masseuse constantly checked if I was uncomfortable, and I even fell asleep in the end. There are also star-shaped 💫 lights on the ceiling, providing very soft lighting. It's a pity that the guests next door were a bit loud and disturbed me. My friend had a Thai herbal massage, and they even gave her the unused herbal balm, which she thought was great!

Highly recommend to all travelers. The staff service is wonderful. It truly releases the pressure from my soul and body.
