After heading to the tourist office to collect our tickets and download the tour app, we watched a multimedia video there about ancient Roman architecture. Then, we walked 5 minutes to the Capitoline Museums. There were museum maps available at the locker area, but the map was a bit complex, and we only understood it halfway through our visit, so the tour app was almost useless, which was a bit of a shame. Because we had other plans afterwards, we only visited one of the museums. It had some unique exhibits not found in other museums, which was quite good. It's a pity we didn't get to explore the underground passage to the other two museums or the outdoor gardens. I hope to have the chance to see it all in the future.

Art lovers should enjoy this place. However, it's a bit inconvenient to have to specifically go and redeem tickets and book a time slot before entering. Also, the tickets are printed on a piece of paper, and if you don't look closely, you might think you don't have a ticket, so be careful.

I went to the museums on my last day in Rome thinking that I can complete the visit in two hours. I ended up spending 4 hours there and still barely scratching the surface. wish I had more time but I have a plane to catch..
