The tour was amazing, and the boatman was friendly and very accommodating. Booking via Klook made it easy to identify a tour provider without being pressured or anxious about it. We only had to show our voucher, and the tour agency immediately arranged our boat tour.

The Coconut Basket Boat tour was a fantastic experience and great fun! Cruising through the palm groves in traditional, round bamboo boats is a truly unique experience. The local boat rowers were incredibly kind, smiling, and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The boat-spinning performances and crab fishing brought so much joy. A very successful trip filled with positive energy. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vietnam who is looking for authentic, local attractions!

What an unforgettable experience! Everything was well-organized from start to finish. Our boat driver was fantastic—after the ride, he gave us cold towels to cool off from the heat and even took our food order. Truly an all-in-one service! 😂 The owner also personally checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and felt safe, which made us feel very welcome. A few tips: Arrive early (boat rides start at 8:00 AM) to avoid the crowds. If you’re booking a Grab, search for “Coconut Restaurant & Basket Boat Tour” instead of “Nipa Basket Coconut Boat.” The famous basket boat spin costs 100,000 VND and is definitely worth trying! And don’t forget to tip your boat driver—they work hard to make your experience fun and memorable, and they’ll truly appreciate it. ❤️ I rarely write reviews, but this experience was too good not to share. Highly recommended when visiting Hoi An!

I am overly satisfied with the boat ride. many said that this a tourist trap but I just want to enjoy it. The host greet us very warmly and provide a short briefing on what to expect on the ride. The boatmen, well in my case boatwomen, not so fluent in English however that doesn't stop her from communicating with us and show a great service. She teach us to catch crab using only a thread a small chicken piece. We had a pleasant ride for the whole 45 minutes. After the ride, they give me cold towel to cool down. It is adviseable to go in the morning to avoid the heat.

Upon arriving at the Hoi An coconut boat boarding point via Grab, you can easily find the meeting spot. The operators are very enthusiastic and welcoming, and restrooms are available for use. The coconut boat staff are very entertaining and even sing Taiwanese songs!

It's hot, so it's recommended to go early in the morning! The coolest part was going through the grass tunnel. After exiting the grass tunnel and reaching the open sea-like area, a "charging festival" awaits. There are extra charges just for riding the coconut boats or dancing on the stage. The fees aren't that high, though. It was so funny because there were so many things to comment on!

This is a very worthwhile activity to experience. The captain will keep encouraging you to try the spinning "Big God of Fury" (an additional fee applies, and a professional will take over the boat). If you're interested, you can give it a try; it's also fine if you don't participate. After the activity, there are optional photos available for purchase at your own expense.
