Everything went as planned – we were met at the specified address, led to the boat, my companion and I were seated, the boatman helped us put on life jackets and light lanterns, and then he took us on a 20-25 minute ride along the river, full of colorful lights ❤️🏮 This is definitely one of the best memories of Hoi An, along with the lantern-making masterclass ❤️

Hoi An Nehri (Thu Bồn Nehri bölgesi) boyunca bir tekne gezintisi yaptık ve genel olarak basit ama çok atmosferik bir deneyimdi, özellikle akşam fenerler suya yansıdığında. Releasing the lantern was a beautiful moment and made the experience feel special. The boat operator was friendly and even helped take photos for us. The night views of the old town and all the glowing lanterns around the river were stunning. Booking through Klook was very convenient and the meeting point was easy to find. There might be a long queue during weekend but nevertheless if you’re visiting Hoi An, this is definitely a must-try activity for the atmosphere and photos! ✨🏮🚣‍♂️ (Tip: Go after sunset so you can fully enjoy the lanterns lighting up the river.)

The boat ride and lantern release in Hoi An was honestly amazing. I’d definitely recommend going around 5:30 PM, you get to see the sunset while you're on the river, and then the lanterns start to glow as it gets darker. It’s the best of both worlds for photos. Our boat guide took some great pictures of us. He also made sure we had a great view of the Old Town, which looked beautiful all lit up. If you're in Hoi An, this is one of those things you really shouldn’t miss. It was peaceful, fun, and just a one of a kind experience.

experience: You won’t be confused and won’t be flocked by so many people because they have a buddy boat already waiting for you, they gave us a welcome cold tea drink and the boat driver is very lovely took a pic of us, even though its a short time only (15-20mins) we enjoyed our moment. I really recommend booking this!!!

It was actually an on the spot booking for us, location was easily located inside Hoian Ancient Town, seamless service and we really enjoyed the night and lighted views of the boat ride, we lighted up our paper lanterns and made our wishes! Definitely a great experience when you go to Hoi An!

This is a must-do and a great experience when you visit Hoi An! It feels magical! There's a queue, but it moves very quickly as there are many boats. We came during peak summer, so it was super hot. I recommend visiting during the cooler season :)

The boat ride is short, but you will see many places with bright lights near the riverbank. A lantern is included in the ticket, and the boatman will light it for you. Our ticket includes a cup of tea and a lantern. The area around the bridge is also crowded; it would be better if you schedule your boat ride after 8 PM for fewer crowds.

Beautiful scenery, gentle staff. The boatman also helped us with life jackets for safety and showed us the best spots for photos. The river had a slight smell before we started, in the shallow part. You should aim to go between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM to get great photos of the boats starting to light up. Any later and it will be quite dark for photos and very crowded.
