Tour da DMZ; Encontro com Desertor Norte-Coreano e Ponte Pênsil (opcional)

This was a fantastic and exceptionally well-planned tour. Before we even arrived at the DZ, our guide, AJ, provided a brilliant and highly informative overview of Korean history, which gave us the perfect context for everything we saw. Going down into the Third Tunnel of Aggression was a truly unique and eye-opening experience that you have to see for yourself. Another fascinating highlight was learning about the local agriculture and seeing how the DMZ area produces its own rice, soybeans, and red ginseng. Stopping at the Unification Village was a great bonus—we loved being able to try and buy local treats like the red ginseng latte, soybean ice cream, and chocolate. Highly recommend AJ and this tour route!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The hike to Mt. Gamaksan and suspension bridge, the railroad track, the 3rd tunnel, DORA observatory, and the DMZ were all beautiful experience. The whole adventure was enjoyable, and made even more fulfilling because of the very passionate and bubbly tour guide AJ from Seoul City Tours. Her personality really resonated with both the young and old travelers. She speaks great English, she knows a lot of the DMZ history well, and even goes beyond her way and answers all questions asked of her. Specifically request for her so you can enjoy the DMZ tour!

Lily from Seoul City Tours was an amazing host! She has great energy and she was very accommodating. My partner and I were very happy with the trip. It was informative and very interactive. Just make sure you plan your trip around sunny periods so you can get a good view of North Korea. We went on a cloudy/drizzly day and fog rolled in as we took our time at Dorasan observatory. Thankfully Lily planned the trip so we had enough time to view across the DMZ before the fog rolled in. For the third infiltration tunnel, the trek up was quite a workout so make sure you put in your steps before you go on this trip so you don't hit a wall walking up the tunnel. I really loved this tour and I'd like to come back again!

Hazel fue una guía turística excelente y extremadamente minuciosa. Explicó mucho sobre la historia de Corea del Norte y la DMZ, ¡además de explicar cada actividad a fondo! El autobús nos recogió exactamente a la hora anunciada y fue rápido y cómodo. Hicimos 4 paradas y todas valieron la pena. Lo mejor fue el recorrido por el túnel, ¡ya que puedes ir bajo tierra a través de los túneles que Corea del Norte excavó! Además, asegúrate de reservar la sesión de preguntas y respuestas con un desertor norcoreano, ¡ya que fue realmente informativa e interesante escuchar historias de la persona! En general, el tour definitivamente vale la pena y recomendaría reservar con Hazel si es posible, ¡ya que fue de gran ayuda!

I really enjoyed my tour of the DMZ with Seoul City Tours! Katie was an amazing tour guide who explained everything in a very educational & professional way, but at the same exact time made the tour very fun & relatable, and she was very friendly & kind & wanted to get to know who you are, where you're from & what you're about. The tour itself was amazing too getting to see the inside of North Korea and seeing all of the different historical sites and Katie was very accommodating and patient in teaching me & everyone else in the group which town/landmark was which. I definitely would highly recommend booking this tour, and be sure to ask for the slightly extended version I did which included a stop at the Suspension Bridge. You will not he disappointed and you'll regret it if you don't!

Jenn was an amazing guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole DMZ tour both informative and enjoyable. She explained the history clearly, answered everyone’s questions patiently, and kept the trip well organized. The local resident sharing session was especially meaningful. This is a great half day tour while learning about the history of North and South Korea. Felicity was our tour guide and she was very patient, kind, informative and funny! It was easy to check in with her at Myeongdong station. There are many tour busses that go to DMZ, but we were always the first bus at each stop. Highly recommend this tour and tour guide!

Our tour guide, Camila, is a very good, informative, and fun tour guide. She guided the tour well and fun! Very informative as well in explaining Korean culture and the historical background of the places we visit. Points of improvement would be the transfer as the bus we rode in did not have good aircon so it was hot. Overall, very good package and really worth a visit!

We had an amazing experience on this DMD tour and highly recommended. Our guide, Katie, was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, patient, and kind throughout the entire day. We accidentally arrived about 10 minutes late due to transportation issues, and she kindly waited for us, even though she didn't have to, which we really appreciated. The tour was very well , informative, and comfortable. Katie shared lots of interesting history and cultural information during the drive, pointed out great photos spots, and even helped take photos for guests. Meeting in North Korean defector and being able to ask questions directly was one of the most memorable parts of the experience. The drive itself was also beautiful with lots of greenery and countryside views. Every stop had bathrooms plus opportunities to buy snacks and drink drinks. Want a helpful note for lactose intolerant travellers: most stops don't have dairy free milk alternatives, does the final stop had a great vegan ice cream. So Fun!
