The DMZ tour with the suspension bridge over the lake is highly recommended. Our guide was Katie and she was fantastic! She speaks perfect English, provided us with a lot of information in a very didactic way (which helped make the journey from Seoul to the first point not feel long). In addition, she was always smiling and willing to help with any questions and to take photos. The pace of the tour was just right, neither too fast nor too slow, and we also had enough free time. I participated in a Japanese guided tour with Mr. Kim (Kim Ji-young). Since I was traveling alone, I was a little anxious before the tour started, but he constantly looked out for me, and I was able to enjoy the tour with great peace of mind. At the observatory, he helped me adjust the focus of the binoculars and answered my questions, which was very kind and helpful. At the Third Tunnel, he accompanied me all the way underground, which was very reassuring. The tour not only included watching videos about life in North Korea and visiting museums, but also offered a rare and valuable opportunity to ask questions directly to a defector. This was an experience not easily found elsewhere. At Unification Village within the DMZ, you can purchase souvenirs of local agricultural products. The kinako soft-serve ice cream I ate there was exquisite, with a rich soybean flavor! This tour offers value beyond its price, so if you're considering it, you should definitely participate!

I had the best tour lead by AJ from Seoul City Tour. She was incredible informative and funny, and super great as a tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit the DMZ as it was super thorough, and had plenty of interesting stops😄

I joined this tour because I wanted to see North Korea with my own eyes. I also wanted to test my English skills, so I deliberately chose this English tour. It's easy to visit the DMZ, which is difficult to go to individually, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience North Korea firsthand, which is often in the news.
