I really enjoyed this workshop. It was relaxing and calm, and a drink was provided whilst making the norigae. The staff also gave me a brief explanation about traditional norigae, and then I was left to pick out my knot, tassel, charms, and then constructed the norigae after being shown how to use the equipment. When I next come to Korea, I want to bring my mum here too.

It was a very enjoyable time. There was an amazing variety to choose from, and everyone who participated was able to pick whatever they liked, going back and forth, deliberating over their choices. The instructor explained how to connect the parts slowly and thoroughly, so we were able to create our pieces smoothly. Drinks and snacks were also provided, but I was so engrossed that I forgot to drink. I finally had a drink after I finished and took a breather. We also received a pouch for the norigae, and then we were free to leave. My friend who came with me was also very satisfied. Creating a one-of-a-kind norigae was truly a great experience. I would definitely like to participate again if I have the chance.

great experience - staff were friendly and explained how to use the tools. signs in English explained more about how to use the tools and glue for assembling your keyrings. when you arrived staff sat you down at your craft station and showed you to the selection bench which had a variety of charms to assemble your norigae with. the knots are pretied and you can simply attach them to the other pieces with jump rings. minimal skills required to get a really beautiful piece.

This is a very enjoyable activity to do, with a lovely souvenir to take home. The host is adorable, gentle, and patient. A delicious drink is offered on-site. A very calming manual activity that will certainly give you a break from the chaos of Seoul!
