This is a great place to learn about Osaka's history, though it focuses mainly on the history from the Asuka period onwards, with relatively little mention of earlier periods. It's worth noting that there's an entire floor dedicated to archaeological excavation work, where both adults and children can learn about archaeology!

This museum offers an excellent experience, especially suitable for seniors, children, and those with limited physical stamina, as there are plenty of benches for resting. We highly recommend a visit.

El museo es precioso, muy organizado y bien mantenido. Tienes que comprar la audioguía porque casi todo está en japonés, pero esta audioguía es muy barata, solo 400 yenes por persona. También hay unas vistas increíbles del Castillo de Osaka desde aquí.

Really nice museum. Especially when you get to the beautifully designed 45-year section. What I found a shame was that many information signs were only in Japanese.
