Fiona was excellent; she explained the entire trip in detail. The trip was well-planned, and we managed to complete all three attractions as scheduled.

It was a last-minute booking just a night before, and we were picked up on time at our hotel. The tour was full of interesting information about the different sites we were about to visit, thanks to our charming and friendly guide, CC, who even sang for us as we were heading back to Osaka. The interaction with the deer at Nara Park was one of the most unforgettable experiences, with the deer bowing their heads along with you. I just loved it. Until next time, Japan.

Arriving in Nara around 10 AM, it's recommended to have breakfast before meeting. Don't worry about time; this activity allows ample time to experience feeding deer and visiting the Todai-ji Temple's Great Buddha Hall (provided you don't get stuck with the deer for too long, haha). If you're quick, you can also visit the nearby Himuro Shrine for a water fortune slip. Around noon, you'll arrive in Uji. Our guide, Noa, is very thoughtful and will recommend famous local restaurants. You can have lunch first, then explore Byodo-in Temple, and afterwards enjoy afternoon tea on Matcha Street. If you still have energy, you can even make a quick trip to Uji Shrine to get the rabbit Goshuin stamp. The afternoon to evening itinerary is at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. You can first visit and take a commemorative photo at the Senbon Torii (Thousand Torii Gates), then explore the nearby eateries. What's more, the best part of this trip is that the tour bus provides a pick-up and drop-off service between different locations, so if you want to visit Nara or Uji and need to travel between areas, you can consider this itinerary. That's all!

The itinerary was smooth, but unfortunately, there were too many participants today and the seats were full. The tour guide, CC, was very kind.

CC the tour guide is amazing at speaking multiple languages! The information and stories were also captivating, but it would have been better if the tour fee included entry and guided tours. I feel like I missed out on a lot, and there wasn't even time to visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Uji Shrine. It's a pity that we spent so much time at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine and still couldn't explore it all. 😔🐾

This itinerary is moderately paced, allowing seniors to enjoy a leisurely tour. (You can choose your drop-off point freely.) This time, we boarded in Kyoto and disembarked in Osaka. During the assembly, as we first gathered in Osaka, there was a slight traffic jam on the way to Kyoto. There's no need to worry; just maintain good communication with the tour guide. We extend our gratitude to the kind tour guide, Mr. Wang (Sam), and the driver, Mr. Yasuharu Kiso! Although the assembly was delayed due to traffic, none of our free time was reduced. Thank you both! The main sightseeing commentary is provided on the bus. After getting off, you can either follow the guide to learn more or explore independently. For the first attraction, if you wish to visit Todai-ji Temple, you'll need to jog to buy tickets and quickly tour it. Alternatively, you can choose to leisurely have breakfast, feed deer, and browse souvenir shops in Nara. For the three attractions in Uji: Byodo-in Temple, Uji snack street, and Uji Shrine, we recommend visiting only two to have more ample time. Near Uji Shrine, there's also a charming little rabbit shrine where you might encounter a friendly local guide who can help you find three little rabbits for good fortune! By the time we reached Fushimi Inari Shrine, it was a bit late. You can head straight to the Senbon Torii (Thousand Torii Gates) for photos (the lighting will be better). Afterwards, there will still be some time to browse the shopping street (most shops close around 5:00 PM). Among them, the Chiikawa specialty store is open until 5:30 PM and offers local exclusive Chiikawa merchandise, so you can take your time shopping there. On the return trip to Osaka, if you sit on the right side by the window on the tour bus, you might even catch a glimpse of Osaka Castle lit up in the distance! Although all these attractions are accessible by train, travelers transferring from Kyoto to Osaka can utilize this guided tour to directly transfer their luggage on the bus.

We booked this 1 day tour last minute thru Klook and it was amazing! Our tour guide, Joy was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It was also nice to relax on the bus after each stop.

El autobús era muy cómodo y aprovechamos cada oportunidad para dormir una siesta y tener energía para cada lugar que visitamos. Definitivamente tomaría este tour de nuevo.
