Coach Liu is incredibly patient. I'd definitely seek her out again next time and recommend her to friends and family. Sharing our experience: After checking out of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, we headed to the ski center's B1 courier service to store our luggage. It cost 1000 yen per piece, payable only by IC card, not cash. We had already filled out the online form for ski equipment rental. At the counter, we showed a screenshot of our reservation form. We picked out our own appropriately sized clothes, pants, shoes, and helmets. We brought our own gloves and goggles. Then we queued at the counter for skis and poles. The coach helped us throughout, rescuing us from our initial panic. In the morning, we had basic instruction. After a lunch break, she took each of us on the ski lift to the slopes in the afternoon. On steeper slopes, we held onto the coach, and on gentler ones, she'd let go but still kept a close eye on us, protecting us very well. She helped us transition from being nervous to enjoying skiing. We even had time for a second run down the slopes to further improve our technique. Thank you, Coach Liu, for giving our family of three such a rewarding experience and saving us a lot of time we would have spent figuring things out ourselves. Highly, highly recommended! The snow at Appi Kogen is truly powdery.

She patiently taught me some techniques and corrected small movements that affected my skiing, allowing me to improve quickly. She basically took me down all the green runs at Appi. Before the lesson, the coach also contacted me to confirm the meeting time and place, and during the lesson, she paid attention to my physical condition and adjusted the itinerary. After taking lessons with the coach, I skied with friends for another day and was mostly able to keep up with them, enjoying the fun of skiing. Highly recommended!

A really excellent class with Hsuan. She met us in the reception area of the ski resort at 9am and we went on the central quad lift and then the gondola. My goals were to have fun and work on my turns. Hsuan really paid attention to what I was doing wrong and helped me improve my turns in just a three hour class. It was a lot of fun and I was happy to gain more confidence on the snow. She also took us to the waves area where there are a few little hills. We appreciated the photos and videos she took. Communication in the lead up to the class was excellent with contact via WhatsApp.

My husband and I took this course and were delighted to meet Coach Xuan from Taiwan. She was very thoughtful in reminding us of the precautions in advance and patiently taught us the basics step by step. She also helped us record videos and short clips! With my existing fitness foundation, I was able to pick it up quickly.

This was my first time attending such an expensive course, and we were assigned Coach Vincent, who is from my hometown of Taipei. It was a wonderful experience to meet someone from home; we had so many topics to share. The coach has over two years of teaching experience, and the overall course atmosphere had a very Taiwanese warmth to it. Whenever someone fell or lost their balance, he would immediately check on their physical condition. The pace of the class was comfortable, and the content was adjusted according to each person's learning situation. At the end of the course, the coach gave us directions for future practice, wishing us to enjoy the fun of skiing together. He is a very dedicated coach. Small suggestion: The class location is on a relatively steep slope, which can be a big challenge for beginners. Overall rating: The coach is very good, highly recommended (luckily); Suggestions: 1. Transportation methods could be explained more clearly, for example, stating that the boarding location is on the second floor of the station, as it's easy to miss the only bus. 2. It is recommended that people with some basic skills or relevant sports experience attend the class, as they will likely feel a greater sense of accomplishment.

We couldn't be happier with coach Peyton! She was great with our 8-year-old. From the moment we started, she was patient, encouraging, and made the whole experience feel like play rather than a lesson.
