This trip to Hakuba for skiing was a perfect experience from the moment of booking. The lessons were reserved well in advance, and email communication was highly efficient. They even created a group chat to confirm details closer to the departure date, which made us feel very reassured by their meticulousness. Originally, we booked lessons at Tsugaike, but the instructor, considering we were complete beginners, proactively suggested switching to Iwatake, where the slopes are more suitable for new learners. It turned out to be an incredibly wise decision! Iwatake's terrain is truly beginner-friendly. The 6-hour lesson was practically a "crash course": We not only learned front and back edge pushing, edge changes, and falling leaf, but even unlocked straight-line skiing! The instructor was incredibly patient, explaining theoretical knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner, making even complex movements simple to grasp. The most touching part was when we realized we had left our backpack on the mountain after coming down. The instructor, after leaving, returned to help us contact the ski resort staff to retrieve it, and even drove us back to our hotel afterward. We are truly grateful! I would definitely give it a 10/10. If anyone is planning to learn skiing in Hakuba, you can book with confidence.

This time, Coach Naipi led four children, ranging from 14 to 21 years old. Coach Naipi patiently taught each child individually, ensuring that even the weaker ones were not left behind, providing one-on-one guidance. The children who progressed faster were also able to ski down the mountain on their own. Everyone felt a great sense of accomplishment, and we hope to have the opportunity for Coach Naipi to continue guiding us next time. Thank you to the ski instructors.

Hakuba Iwatake is so pretty. It's not as crowded as I thought. Our instructor is Chelsea and she is the most patient and kind person. She can speak English and explain well. I have quite young kids aged 7 & 9 and they are not very patient in following instructions, but Chelsea was very patient in teaching and encouraging them. We started our practice at 9:30 am (it was supposed to be 9 am, but we were late getting the rental gear). We practiced until about 12:30 pm. We didn't go down the slope in the end because our kids were scared and the wind was too strong. We had fun anyway!

Maria was a joy to have for the day… she took care to show us the routes, gave great tips on places to ski and technique and the kids loved her. big thumbs up

We had so much fun, and I think I was able to learn quickly because Luchi-sensei is such an amazing instructor. It’s a pity we didn’t have more time to keep playing because the ski area closed earlier than usual.

Fui a la clase privada de 6 horas y, sinceramente, fue la mejor decisión que he tomado. Era la segunda vez que esquiaba y estaba ansioso por progresar desde el arado y aprender a esquiar en paralelo, así como a girar. Gracias a la paciencia, la perspicacia y la guía de María, me siento cómodo haciendo esto, aunque todavía se requerirá mucha práctica por mi parte. ¡No podría haber pedido un instructor mejor! 10/10, lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Luchi fue una gran maestra, paciente y nos enseñó muy bien en pasos comprensibles. Fácil de aprender y entender y, en última instancia, de mejorar.
