The 3-hour skiing experience was great. I successfully took the cable car down from the mountain once (it felt very safe with the instructor next to me). I'd love to come back and play again next time.

This time, I met Coach Liu at Zao Onsen Ski Resort. I was a bit nervous about skiing initially, but Coach Liu was very meticulous and patient in his guidance. His explanations were clear and simple, making the whole process completely stress-free. I was able to pick it up right away, quickly learning how to brake and turn on two skis in the morning. In the afternoon, I was already doing continuous S-turns down the mountain, which gave me a huge sense of accomplishment 😆. During the lesson, he constantly paid attention to the students' conditions, setting the pace just right – very professional. The coach also helped take many cool photos and videos; everything looked great against the snowy backdrop of Zao 📸❄️. The overall experience was truly worthwhile. If you're skiing for the first time or want to learn safely and efficiently, Coach Liu is definitely the right choice!

Because this time, Coach Zhang Rongchun greatly enhanced our family's skiing experience! Whether it was teaching beginners like my wife, who is afraid of heights, or energetic children, Coach Zhang was incredibly patient in demonstrating, encouraging, and correcting. She used various methods to help students feel the correct skiing technique themselves and guided them according to their individual characteristics. Her teaching method is very flexible and effective. After two days of training and guidance, the children's parallel turns were already quite good, and my wife, under the coach's guidance, was able to smoothly cross the red slope with us and experience more diverse trails and the magnificent scenery of the Zao Mountains. We are very grateful for Coach Zhang's dedicated effort, which gave our family more wonderful memories on this skiing trip. We all love her very much!

Coach Vincent is very professional and exceptionally patient. He meticulously attends to every student (a group of 5). He starts by teaching the very basics, from how to put on the board, proper stance, to safe braking techniques, explaining and demonstrating each movement repeatedly. Throughout the process, the coach constantly observes our actions, corrects details individually, and explains things in different ways to ensure we truly understand and can execute them. What impressed me most is how dedicated the coach is; he continuously glides back and forth, climbs slopes, helps us adjust our posture, and encourages us to keep trying. As a first-time learner, I felt very secure and was able to build confidence relatively quickly. The overall class atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, a course that was both professional and warm. The coach also advised us on the best times to see the 'snow monsters' (Juhyo) when visibility is good. The course arrangement was clear, the atmosphere was relaxed, and we made rapid progress. ❄️First snowboarding experience was a huge success! I highly recommend my amazing coach, Xiao Liu! 🏂 Today was my first time trying snowboarding, and I was a bit nervous at first, but I was so lucky to meet Coach Xiao Liu! 🌟 Why do I recommend Xiao Liu? 1. Super patient & professional: She explained everything in great detail, starting from putting on the gear, and taught all the basics perfectly. 2. Smooth communication: She's a native Mandarin speaker, so there were absolutely no communication barriers, and her instructions were clear. 3. Incredibly fast teaching: With her vivid explanations and easy-to-understand demonstrations, I actually learned Heel side and Toe side C turns within 3 hours! Even I was shocked by this progress! 🤯 4. Great personality: Xiao Liu is cute and humorous, making the class atmosphere super joyful, with laughter throughout 😂. She's also very encouraging, which boosted my confidence immensely! 5. Good photography skills: She also helped me take many cool photos and videos 📸. If you're also a snowboarding beginner, you definitely can't go wrong with Xiao Liu! Thanks to Vincent for the lesson! He explained and demonstrated the basic concepts and techniques of skiing with great detail and patience. Throughout the process, he prioritized safety and tried his best to accommodate all requests/attempts. He also provided immense emotional support (constantly encouraging and praising) 😂, making the skiing experience perfect even with bad weather! After our 3-hour lesson, we all initially mastered the falling leaf technique and felt like we went from zero to being able to start enjoying skiing!

Coach Liu is very patient in teaching. Even first-time learners can ski safely and learn the C-turn in one day. If you're a bit more advanced, you can even learn the S-turn. You'll be added to a group a few days before the lesson. The overall learning process is very comfortable and will make you fall in love with skiing ☃️ (P.S.: It's recommended to buy hip and knee pads before class, as they cannot be rented at Zao).
