Steve is such a great guide where he explained everything in detailed. However, for the dinner food maybe can improve on that part. Overall, the trip is nice and we all had fun.

We booked the tour one day in advance on Klook. There were four of us, and my family really wanted to see monkeys, but it was raining heavily so we couldn't see anything. The itinerary included refreshments and dinner. We went to the beach at dusk to watch the beautiful sunset, and in the evening, there were so many fireflies, they even flew towards us.

A rare experience, saw many long-tailed macaques, also saw large monitor lizards and large crocodiles, but unfortunately did not see proboscis monkeys. The sunset was beautiful, and at night the trees were full of fireflies, which was very moving. Highly recommended.

The tour guide picked us up on time and provided explanations in both Chinese and English along the way. Before the boat tour started, they recommended snacks and sunset viewing spots. We saw many fireflies that day, highly recommended!

It really depends on luck to see monkeys, but being able to see the Milky Way and fireflies at night is also worthwhile.

5박6일 진행됐었던 제 코타키나발루 여행중의 탑입니다. 와일드라이프는 기대하던 코주부원숭이가 아니라 긴꼬리원숭이? 그거만봐서 좀 아쉽긴했었지만 선셋을 볼수있는 시간과 밤에 진행됐던 반딧불이 크루즈가 찐이였어요 멋진불쇼도 볼수있는 정말 아름답고 멋진 경험입니다. 아이와 가도 좋은경험 할수있으니 꼭 한번 경험해보시길 추천드려용

We had to drive for over 2 hours, but considering the road conditions, the ride quality wasn't bad. (Photo 1) Upon arrival, snacks provided by the company. (Photo 2) We took a yacht tour along the river. Due to the regional climate, it often rains on and off, so bringing a raincoat is recommended. (Photo 3) A spot where we were dropped off to watch the sunset for a specific period.

The tour guide was very thoughtful, and the explanations during the trip were clear and easy to understand. Seeing proboscis monkeys and long-tailed macaques depends on luck, but the fireflies are absolutely guaranteed and truly stunning! The beach sunset and the starry sky also made the trip worthwhile! Highly recommended~

The trip left us with wonderful memories. The small group tour format was excellent, not too noisy. Our guide, Bernard, was very kind and provided commentary in both Chinese and English. He informed us about important considerations when viewing proboscis monkeys and fireflies, emphasizing the responsibility of animal protection. The vegetarian meals, consisting of local vegetables, were specially prepared for us, which was very thoughtful. I absolutely loved the river scenery; it reminded me of the river in Tom Sawyer. We missed the sunset, but we saw an incredibly beautiful afterglow, which was well worth it. The fireflies were so numerous they shimmered like stars in the sky, truly a magical night. Overall, everything was great, except for the noise created by other tour groups mixed together on the boat. The car journey was long, but it seemed necessary.

I was the only Korean among many Chinese tourists. However, the guide spoke English well, so there were no major issues, and seeing the monkeys was enjoyable. You need to be lucky to see the proboscis monkeys, but the tour guides shared information and did their best. The final fireflies were fantastic. The travel time is long, but I highly recommend it.
