The tour was a great experience! It only took 1.5 hr from Osaka. The view from the top of the mountain was spectacular, the main terrace and cafe 360 are great places to take photos and relax. Our kids had fun playing in the snow and sled. Riding the chairlift was exciting too. Our tour guide Lully was friendly and helpful.

Although the travel time was a bit long, it was truly lucky to see the snow and experience snowfall. Drinking coffee at the cafe, enjoying the warmth, and admiring the snowy scenery outside Lake Biwa was very relaxing. Playing with snowboards or just playing in the snow outdoors was also a lot of fun. The prices and the guide were both reasonable, and the guide was also very good. Anyone who wants to go skiing, play in the snow, or see snowscapes should definitely give it a try.

One of the highlights of my trip to Japan. I only booked the shuttle bus and bought my ticket at Biwako. You can buy the ropeway + lift + Biwako Terrace ticket for 5,000 yen. Our guide was Curtis, and the meeting point was easy to find. Bring water or snacks if you like; there are also cafes and restaurants on the mountain. If you want to go to the Biwako Terrace 360 view, it's at the peak. You'll need to take two lifts: the first is a relaxed ride, and the second is faster. The view is amazing.

Going up to Biwako Valley via cable car was already an amazing experience. There was real snow, and we were lucky that it was snowing again, although it got colder, especially when we rode the lift going up. But it was a nice feeling. However, it was so foggy we didn't see the lake, but the top was full of snow, a surreal experience.
