Rovaniemi Norvajärvi Northern Lights Half-Day Tour with Small Group

It was so wonderful to chase the Northern Lights in Finland again! The aurora over the lake was absolutely beautiful. We were very lucky with the weather today, even though it was freezing cold. This Northern Lights chase was definitely worth it, and having a bonfire with food was amazing! 👍

This was a great experience! We were skeptical due to the clouds, but they managed to find a spot where we saw the aurora straight away! This was followed by a warm fire and snacks! The tour guides were both lovely and helped us take good photos!

The tour guide couple were very kind. The day before, they even reminded us that the weather forecast was not good and we might not see the aurora, asking if we wanted to cancel. However, we still wanted to try our luck and go see, so we didn't cancel the trip. They picked us up around 10:30 PM. We didn't see the aurora at the first lake, but we were very lucky to see it at the second lake! There was also a cabin next to the second lake, where the tour guide couple prepared hot blueberry juice, sausages, small bread, and marshmallows. I highly recommend everyone to join their tour!

This was a great experience for us. We were taken to 2 different places to see the Northern Lights and managed to see them. Guides were very friendly and helpful. They took great family photos for us and sent them to us. BBQ at the end was a good way to warm up as it gets very cold. Would book it again. Highly recommend.

The guide was friendly, helpful, and provided some BBQ food and hot drinks to keep us warm in the super cold near the frozen lake. Although we appreciated the guide, who tried taking us to three locations to see and helped with photos, we were still disappointed that we didn't see any aurora, which was our main purpose for joining the tour.

Although the aurora wasn't as beautiful to the naked eye, the guide couple was cheerful and kind, and the tour was very enjoyable. I'm grateful they accommodated the sudden change in the pickup location. I wished we had a little more time for photos at the second lake, but overall, I'm satisfied!
