Shanghai Lao Tian Lu, iguarias em conserva - Ximending

It's the last few days of my Taiwan trip, so of course I have to buy souvenirs. I basically buy Laotianlu duck tongues every time. This coupon is really amazing! For 420 NTD, I can buy 500 NTD worth of standard duck tongues. After using this coupon, my Taiwan trip will be over.

Convenient and quick, buy and use immediately. The taste is good and fresh. On-site purchase is NT$500 for 300g, while Klook sells it for $116 for 280g, which is a few pieces less. Actually, when you calculate it, it's not much cheaper.

The location was too difficult to find, and it shared a name with another place, which caused a lot of confusion. This led to the staff having a poor attitude, as they didn't know where the other location was. I circled between the two shops 2-3 times. I will not be buying from here again. 😰😰😰

The duck tongues are incredibly flavorful, not too salty or spicy, just right. A pack for 450 NTD is cheaper than buying on-site, which is a really good deal.

The duck tongues are very flavorful and perfectly seasoned, but the portion is a bit small. It's more cost-effective to buy a Klook voucher.

On the last day of the trip, of course, I went to buy duck tongues. I went to Shanghai Laotianlu to buy duck tongues, tempura, crispy sausages, and duck wings. Because it was quite hot that day, and I was worried that everything would spoil by the time I got back to Hong Kong, the lady gave me a bag of ice. It barely lasted until I got home, but the price was really quite expensive.

It's delicious! Since it's frozen, remember to bring an ice pack when you buy it! It's also very convenient to redeem with a QR code! The staff are very clear about the process, so everyone can buy with confidence 💕

The purchasing process is simple, and the shop's location is very convenient. Besides the duck tongues, the large chicken drumsticks also taste great. The aunties are very warm, attentive, and highly responsible.
