\À noite, retorne no "Yufuin no Mori".
The tour was amazing from start to finish! Our guide Wendy was super kind and funny — she explained everything really well and even offered to take photos of me since I was traveling alone. We started with the Safari instead of Umi Jigoku because the weather was expected to be a bit rainy, and it was a great choice — we saw so many animals! Umi Jigoku was beautiful too, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere of Yufuin Village. The dorayaki our guide Wendy recommended was absolutely delicious! ✨ Highly recommend this experience! 🩷
We joined this tour and chose to take the Yufuin no Mori train back to Hakata, saving us the hassle of booking tickets in advance. The Yufuin no Mori departs at 5:15 PM, which gave us over an hour more time compared to the group bus departure, which was great! Our tour guide, Ada, was very kind. She explained the itinerary and collected money for tickets after we boarded. At Kyushu African Safari, she quickly helped us purchase tickets. Although we couldn't take the jungle bus (it was sold out), watching the wild animal area from the tour bus allowed us to take clearer photos and see more. The entire day's itinerary was very fulfilling; it was a wonderful day trip!
This was my first time joining a Klook tour, and our guide was Hedy. She was humorous, friendly with children, and made the tour relaxed and pleasant. She also shared local Fukuoka gourmet recommendations with us. The itinerary was very well organized, leaving us wanting more. We had a full two hours at Yufuin, and although we didn't get to ride the jungle bus at the Kyushu Safari Park, we were still able to see the wild animals up close from the tour bus. I will definitely recommend this tour to my friends!
This one-day tour was a wonderful experience. The itinerary and schedule were very well arranged 😍. Especially our tour guide Lily, who reached out to us in advance and reminded us of the departure time. She was extremely gentle and kind. At the zoo, she gave wonderful explanations for every section, and at Yufuin, she took us to Lake Kinrin and even proactively offered to take photos for everyone in the group. She is super nice and gave us great tips on how to explore Yufuin (walking routes and local snacks to try). At the end of the tour, she repeatedly reminded us of the important things to keep in mind when taking the Yufuin no Mori train ⚠️ to make sure nobody missed it. Lily deserves 5 stars! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
In the morning, we took a bus tour. The scenery along the mountainous route was incredibly beautiful. Beppu, the animal park, and Yufuin are not too far apart, offering different vibes for shopping and dining. On the way back, taking the Yufuin no Mori train added to the richness of the overall trip. I highly recommend this itinerary; it was fantastic. Next time, if I have the chance, I'll consider staying a night in Yufuin and returning on my own to experience the morning beauty of Lake Kinrin.
The one-day tour to Beppu Hells, Kyushu Natural Zoological Park, and Yufuin was very fulfilling. The geothermal landscape of Beppu Hells was magnificent; seeing the steaming hot springs and unique geological features firsthand, one could feel the magical power of nature. At Kyushu Natural Zoological Park, we were able to observe various animals up close in a spacious environment, which is perfect for animal lovers. Finally, we arrived at Yufuin, a town full of leisurely charm, where strolling through the streets, admiring the unique shops and beautiful scenery, brought a perfect end to the day. Special thanks to our guide, COCO, for her professional leadership and thoughtful care throughout the trip. She not only provided detailed introductions to the characteristics of each attraction but also constantly reminded us of meeting times and important notes, making the entire journey easy and worry-free. What was even more considerate was that COCO always proactively helped everyone take photos, assisting in finding the best angles to capture many precious memories. Her warm and friendly service made the trip even more enjoyable and is one of the most wonderful memories of this Kyushu trip. Highly recommended!
Our tour guide, Ms. Natsumi Iwata, was very kind from the beginning, guiding us onto the bus and introducing today's itinerary: explaining the characteristics and formation of Umi Jigoku; when visiting Kyushu African Safari, although we didn't take the jungle bus or experience feeding lions, bears, and other animals, it was still very enjoyable to watch animals we don't usually see from the air-conditioned tour bus. In the park, she enthusiastically helped us take photos, allowing us to capture memorable moments. Since we were among the few group members returning by the Yufuin no Mori train, Ms. Iwata kept reminding me to arrive at the station early. The entire trip was compact, wonderful, and fulfilling, all thanks to Ms. Iwata's guided tour.
Due to the winter break, we were unable to book a ride on the zoo's animal-themed vehicles. However, we could still observe the animals in the various sections of the natural zoo up close from the tour bus. The tour guide thoughtfully arranged for our family to sit near the front for convenience. Our package included a return ticket for the Yufuin no Mori train, so we left the group early. We needed to allow sufficient time to walk to the station, and along the way, we enjoyed many local delicacies. We also serendipitously encountered the Kyushu Automobile Museum, which is a great place for children. The staff on the Yufuin no Mori train were very attentive, preparing conductor uniforms and hats for the children, along with a date plate for the day of travel, all free for photo opportunities. Overall, the experience was ideal!
