Excursão de um dia em Kyushu: Trem Yufuin no Mori & Cidade de Yufuin & Templo Nyoirin-ji & Dazaifu & Fontes Termais do Inferno (partindo de Fukuoka)

This was my first time joining a group tour in Japan, and the overall experience was truly wonderful✨ The main itinerary included the charming Yufuin Floral Village with its Japanese ambiance, the serene and dreamy Lake Kinrin, and the unique Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell). Finally, we visited the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, rich in historical atmosphere. Along the way, there was a particularly memorable experience—taking the popular sightseeing train Yufuin no Mori from Yufuin to Oita Station🚃. The scenery along the route was beautiful, and encountering the cherry blossoms in full bloom during spring🌸 made the entire journey even more romantic. The tour guide and driver were both very friendly. Not only did they provide detailed explanations throughout, but they also shared many local tips on fun activities and delicious food, making the entire trip richer and warmer❤️. If it's your first time traveling to Japan, I highly recommend this kind of itinerary. It's relaxing yet fulfilling, allowing you to experience natural beauty, cultural history, and local charm all at once✨.

Today, I participated in the Kyushu day tour led by tour guide Lily (Yufuin no Mori train, Yufuin town, Umi Jigoku hot spring, Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine), and the overall experience was fantastic! My family and I have traveled to Japan many times, participating in nearly 20 day and two-day tours, and Lily is definitely one of the best tour guides I have ever met. Along the way, her explanations were not only detailed, lively, and interesting, but she was also very familiar with Kyushu's history, culture, and attractions. She thoughtfully reminded us of meeting times, photo spots, and important notes, making the entire day's itinerary well-organized. Even with longer travel times, we never felt bored. What's even more commendable is Lily's exceptional care for the group members; she always had a smile, patiently answered questions, and promptly assisted with any issues, making everyone feel at ease and comfortable. If I have the opportunity to travel to Kyushu again in the future, I will definitely prioritize tours led by Lily, and I sincerely recommend her to friends planning a trip to Kyushu. Thank you, Lily, for your dedication and professionalism, which left us with wonderful memories of this trip!

Our Chinese-speaking guide, Daisy, provided meticulous explanations throughout the entire trip and took great care of the elderly members of our group. She even created her own recommended Google lists for different areas and enthusiastically helped us call to order delicious kamameshi (rice cooked in an iron pot) from the restaurant in front of Yufuin Station. We tried all three flavors – beef, chicken, and eel – and they were truly amazing! At Tenmangu Shrine, she professionally advised everyone on which shops to visit first (because they were closing soon) and shared how to pray and make wishes. On the way back, she recommended great places to eat and fun things to do in Fukuoka. Tour A offered a rich and interesting array of sights, allowing those who love shopping and good food to enjoy a fulfilling day. However, the itinerary was tight and felt a bit rushed, and the travel time between destinations took a while, so we couldn't fully enjoy shopping (how much do I love shopping, really?). Next time, I want to go to Yufuin by myself (I bought so many Miffy rabbits)!

This was my first time traveling with a Klook tour, and I went with my mom. Li Jing was a wonderful tour guide 🤍. She was very approachable, polite, and had a good sense of humor, always looking out for each one of us. She introduced us to every attraction and related Japanese culture and history, and she also made sure to explain the meeting times, locations, restroom facilities (which is very important, haha!), and what was good to buy versus what to avoid 🫠. I highly recommend Tour Guide Li Jing! And thanks to the driver, Japanese drivers are incredibly polite 😭. I felt the itinerary was well-paced, but it was a shame that most shops in Dazaifu (snack shops, souvenir shops, etc.) closed promptly at 5 PM 😅. We didn't get to browse properly because we arrived after 4 PM 🥲, but there was nothing we could do, as the itinerary was already very well-planned 🫶🏻.

This was a lot of fun and you do get to see a lot in one day. The only thing is you have to be mindful about your time. It can be really easy to dwell only on one area of the place you’re visiting and before you know it, your time is almost up and you have to head back to the bus. My guide was Kevin and he was wonderful! Kevin had beautiful energy, was very kind and explained everything to me in English-since I am coming from the United States. I do recommend maybe packing some snacks/food just because you can get caught up sightseeing that you may not have the chance to grab something there and also because food is not provided. Overall my favorite part is how scenic the entire trip is!

The trip was very good. We appreciate our guide Zhang for his service, especially when he told stories of Tenjin God, and he even brought a comic book and a few pages to show. He always explains in both English and Chinese equally. He shares his thoughts and suggestions on where to go, what to do, buy, or eat at each stop. I think one of his strengths is that he studied in Beppu and shares naturally. He truly deserves this job and recognition. As for the driver, whose name I don't know, he is very active and funny. From the very first moment he stepped onto the bus, he greeted everyone eagerly and even wore a Minion mask to entertain passengers. We feel that he gives us service happily.

The itinerary was fulfilling, and the service was professional—a highly cost-effective day trip experience. The day trip I participated in was very well-planned, the scenery was incredibly beautiful, and the overall pace was fulfilling and smooth. I highly recommend it to everyone! Regarding transportation, the mini-bus for the tour group was very comfortable, and the driver's skills were steady, making the journey feel very safe. I especially want to commend our tour guide, Lily. She arranged the itinerary perfectly, taking care of every detail. Lily not only explained things very clearly but was also kind, friendly, sincere, and polite, leaving a deep impression. Although Mandarin is not our native language, Lily spoke with great clarity, and we could understand her completely, making communication very pleasant. I sincerely thank Lily for her attentive care and professional explanations throughout the day, which made this trip excellent value for money. We are very satisfied with the overall service, and if there's another opportunity in the future, we hope to join a tour led by Lily again!

I had a great experience on this tour and would highly recommend it. The itinerary was very well planned and allowed us to visit several amazing destinations in one day without having to worry about transportation or logistics. Everything was organized, punctual, and easy to follow. What I appreciated most was that the tour struck a perfect balance between structure and flexibility. We received clear guidance and information at each stop, but still had enough free time to explore the places that interested us most at our own pace. Our guide, Alex, was fantastic. He was attentive, informative, and genuinely funny, which made the long travel times enjoyable. He shared great recommendations throughout the day and was always available to answer questions or help when needed. His enthusiasm and knowledge really enhanced the experience. 1. Tour guide Xiaoyu is proficient in Chinese, English, and Japanese. She explains everything at each attraction and repeatedly reminds us of the pick-up and drop-off times, making us feel at ease. 2. Be sure to check your email the day before to confirm your group number. There will be many, many day tours at the meeting point, so be sure to check in early to find your group. 3. This itinerary covered all the essential places, allowing us to sleep on the bus and enjoy the sights when we got off. It was excellent. We returned to Hakata around 6 PM, leaving time for our evening plans. 4. At Yufuin and Kinrin Lake, we walked around and took photos. We arrived at Yufu Mabushi Shin around 10 AM to queue and were the first to be seated for our meal. The food was served quickly, and the appetizers in the set meal were incredibly delicious! After about half an hour of eating, we still had an hour to quickly explore (I focused on the lake and Mabushi Shin) before hurrying back to the station for our meeting. When boarding the train, remember not to sleep the entire journey – Xiaoyu reminded us to visit the special carriages and get stamps. Also, make sure to take plenty of photos of your ticket and keep it safe. 5. At Umi Jigoku, there's a free foot bath. Even soaking for a few minutes can relieve the morning's foot fatigue. It seemed not many people from our group went to use the foot bath.

Nicole was so kind and informative when going through our tour (we opted for route A with Yufuin No Mori). There was enough time in each place to properly enjoy each spot while ensuring the tour went as timed. Would recommend to book with them!
