One of our favourite parks we visited on our Japan trip. Absolutely stunning, and features unique architecture, a small bamboo forrest, turtles, and lots of koi fish. We visited in April 2026 in peak cherry blossom season - highly recommend.

You can’t skip the queue with this ticket as you still need to swap it with a regular ticket at the counter. Otherwise, pretty good. Managed to see plum and cherry blossoms

Although there aren't many flowers yet, it's a place full of its own unique beauty. I spent some quality time there, reflecting alone. The thought of the garden being in full bloom with flowers after mid-February makes me want to visit again and again.

Beautiful! A stunning landscape with ancient trees that survived the atomic bomb! There's a very moving memorial on the site where, in 1987, the remains of 65 people who disappeared in the 1945 explosion were found. Highly recommended.
