I had an amazing experience! They have a wide range of kimono costumes with beautiful colors and designs. The staff were super helpful and friendly, offering great suggestions and taking care of all our needs. It was a big plus for me that the rental shop is located within Shinjuku Garden, so I didn't have to go elsewhere to rent and return the kimono. The shop itself was lovely, with a nice scent and soothing music 😊

We had such an amazing experience renting kimonos here! My daughter and I had the best time, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tokyo. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind from the moment we arrived. They took such great care in helping us choose our kimonos, dressing us beautifully, and creating gorgeous hairstyles that perfectly completed the look. Their attention to detail and professionalism made us feel so special. Afterward, we took our own photos in Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and it made for such a memorable experience. Everything came together perfectly, and we’re so glad we decided to do it. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! Thank you to the wonderful team for making this such a special memory for us. We would absolutely come back and recommend you to anyone looking for an authentic and beautiful kimono experience.

They were so helpful and patient while I was indecisive choosing from all the beautiful colors and patterns. They also provided heat tech underdressing to accommodate the cold weather. I was happy that the hairstyling included hot tools, and that I was asked if I was okay with the heat being used on my hair. I was under the impression photos were not included, but they were kind enough to take a few pictures of me in their garden and made me feel beautiful. I was also grateful that they spoke very good English. Thank you for a beautiful experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Kouichi Store when my daughter rented her kimono. Ryu and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind, patient, attentive, and professional, making sure she felt comfortable and happy throughout the entire process. The service was excellent, and their hospitality truly stood out. There were lots of beautiful options for kimonos and accessories, which made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. They made the experience special and memorable for our family. Highly recommended!

When choosing a kimono, the staff explained everything kindly, and changing was stress-free. They prepare an inner lining for you, so you don't have to worry about dirtying the kimono. For hairstyles and hair accessories, there are free and paid options, with no pressure to choose. The main point is that Shinjuku Gyoen has many scenic spots, perfect for taking photos.

Experience: A truly perfect experience! The ladies were all very friendly and patient, the prices were reasonable, and the kimonos were clean and beautiful. The shop itself was clean and refreshing. My first yukata experience was wonderful! The park is great for photos, and wearing a yukata makes them even better.

The staff were very polite and helpful. You need to allow a little time to walk there, it's near Nihonbashi, and there's a good selection of beautiful clothes.
