The stops at each temple were overwhelmingly stunning — truly breathtaking at every turn. The trip is a full 12-hour day, but absolutely worth every minute. Nuttaya was amazing: incredibly knowledgeable, and always looking out for us. Highly recommend this experience!
First, the Doi Inthanon hiking trip was absolutely incredible, with views out of this world, stuff you would only see in video games. And then, the elephant sanctuary is a must; interacting with these beautiful, gentle creatures is a surreal experience. Anyone thinking about it should definitely do it.
It was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to the professionalism of the guides who are attentive, pleasant, and teach us a lot throughout the interaction with the elephants. The safety rules are well explained. The meal provided was delicious. It was a superb experience.
Great experience. Everything was perfect. Pick-up on time and drop-off was flawless. The itinerary was slightly modified: departure around 8 am, arrival 10:30 am. We did bamboo rafting first, then lunch, and then the elephants. Nothing to complain about.
I love the whole experience! The van picked us up on time and the process was so smooth. The guides were very helpful. It was rainy when we visited but still worth it. We got to experience the domesticated elephants up close. I especially love how all the elephants were not forced to do things out of their natural behaviors. The guides were very knowledgeable also.
It was a wonderful experience. They picked us up at the hotel at 7:45 a.m., then we stopped for 15 minutes at a place to buy breakfast and use the bathroom. After that, we continued for about an hour and a half to the place where the five elephants were (one of them a 2.5-year-old baby). We had to walk through very slippery (it was lightly raining) and muddy areas. We fed the elephants, touched them, and then bathed them in the river. The guide was always kind and took photos of us, which she later shared for free. Then we had Pad Thai and watermelon for lunch and returned to the hotel. I arrived back at my hotel at 2:45 p.m.
The tour guide was excellent, meticulous, and very caring. Besides the mahout, the elephant also actively touched the tour guide, which means she must be someone the elephants feel relaxed around. Everyone can book with confidence! Here, elephants are not made to work; instead, we pay to help the elephants work, which is really funny and enjoyable. Please remember to love elephants, love Thailand, and love Chiang Mai! Hahahahaha
One of the most amazing experiences of my life, the river rafting was great but the Elegants gave me a rush and joy.
There weren't many reviews when we booked this tour, but we went ahead given that it offers a combination tour with Doi Inthanon. Our group went to Elephant Sanctuary 4 with 5 of their elephants. It started off with a safety briefing before we headed off to feed the elephants. It was fun feeding the elephants, with plenty of food to go around. The river soaking with the elephants was a disappointment given the small river size; only 2 elephants could go in at a time. As the water was cold, the elephants didn't want to enter the water (which is understandable). The shower facilities are just an open area with taps. The Pad Thai lunch was surprisingly yummy! We then headed off to Doi Inthanon. Unfortunately, it started raining, and everything was foggy up the mountains, so we didn't enjoy much of a view while at the Twin Pagodas. Luckily, the nature hike was beautiful! One weird thing was that the driver did not drop us off at our hotel but at One Nimman instead.
very good activity. we enjoyed feeding the gentle giants and also had a good interaction with them..
