We enjoyed an unforgettable crab feast at Kani Honke in front of Nagoya Station. Although booking through Klook added a little to the price, the difference wasn't significant if combined with credit card coupons. It also saved us the trouble of not understanding Japanese, and the restaurant specially arranged a server who spoke a little English. Upon being seated, we were first presented with an appetizer platter featuring king crab leg meat and tuna sashimi, which was astonishingly fresh. We especially recommend the crab sushi rolls; every bite was filled with abundant crab meat, offering rich layers of flavor. The croquettes and fried crab claws had a crispy exterior, while the filling remained juicy and delicious. The crab roe shumai was incredibly fragrant, and with each bite, you could taste the sweetness of the crab meat. The seasonal vegetables were perfectly cooked, adding a refreshing touch to the overall meal. Finally, the crab miso soup was rich yet not heavy. The fruit yogurt dessert provided a perfect end to this feast. The friendly and attentive service staff also greatly enhanced the dining experience.

The staff at Kani Honke restaurant are very friendly, the environment is great, and the food quality is excellent. It's definitely worth visiting again. Booking a set meal through Klook is also very convenient; upon entering the restaurant, you just need to tell the staff your reservation time and name to be seated. Moreover, by booking through Klook, the restaurant proactively arranged a private room, allowing us to quietly enjoy a delicious dinner. Highly recommended!

Due to the rain, we arrived 30 minutes early, but the staff told us to sit and wait until the designated time before being seated. Why couldn't they be more flexible? The three of us had a large private room. The female attendant who greeted us didn't speak English, but we managed to communicate using Japanese and gestures, relying on guesswork. The food presentation and utensils met the standards of kaiseki cuisine. Overall, for this price, the excellent food and perfect hospitality made it well worth it.

SUPER❗️ I arranged my time early in the morning to force myself not to just go shopping 🛍️🤭🤭 This Hokkaido crab restaurant 🍴 has been famous for a long time. The quality and portion size are surprising❗️ Perhaps the Japanese Yen to Hong Kong Dollar exchange rate is super low now ❕ 5 JPY to 1000 JPY, so after looking at the menu, I found the prices to be similar.

Kani Honke at Nagoya Station is conveniently located and easy to find. The restaurant offers private rooms for dining, and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. All four of us ordered the premium set meal, and after applying the discount coupon, it cost around $600 per person, which is excellent value for money.

Overall, it was acceptable, but compared to the Hokkaido restaurant of the same name, the standard was lower. The environment was average, a bit old, and the staff service was also mediocre; we often had to rush them for the next dish. Finally, the staff member who made our congee even had a cold and was still tasting it.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Three of us had a private room to ourselves, with a dedicated female attendant who greeted us and explained how to eat each dish. Although she didn't speak English, her gestures were easy to understand. The quality of the food and the presentation of the tableware are truly commendable.

Your location is very convenient, near Nagoya Station. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately drawn to the surroundings. The staff's service attitude was excellent, and I didn't feel awkward dining alone because there are private rooms which are very comfortable. The food prices are reasonable, and the quality is also very good.
