I'm lucky enough to have a patient guide who helped me through snorkeling 🤿 I'm really not good at swimming, and honestly… I was scared too. But Abang guided me all the way, and I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle 🐢✨ My little tip: bring your own snorkeling gear for a better experience 🤿🌊

We contacted them via WhatsApp in advance, and they were able to adjust our tour departure time to 6:30 AM to coincide with the sunrise. Their kind assistance was very helpful! It's best to depart early. The underwater statue spot, in particular, seems to get crowded, but there were only two other groups when we visited. It seems that the only time you can dive and take photos individually is early in the morning. The staff repeatedly dove down to take photos and videos for us, making it a highly satisfying tour! This time, we chose the 4-hour plan, which included one hour of relaxing on the beach at Gili Meno. Honestly, if you only want to spend time snorkeling, I think the 2-hour plan would be perfectly enjoyable.

I visited the wonderful spots in Gili with Captain Ari! We booked for around 8 AM and departed from Gili T, as we heard it gets crowded later. Before boarding, we rented necessary equipment like flippers and masks, which we used well throughout the day. The weather was great, the sea was clear, and the sun was bright, so we could see everything underwater. I was a bit worried about seasickness, but the boat was smooth with no major rocking. Upon arriving at the spot, I put on my flippers, sat on the boat, and entered the water. I was surprised it wasn't cold at all. As soon as I got in, I saw a turtle right away... It was the best, so good! Since the bottom is sandy, you need to avoid touching the seabed as much as possible to keep the visibility clear and swim with the turtles. From there, if you keep swimming, following the captain, you'll gradually see more fish, and that's where the Blue Coral is. There were so many different fish around that weren't near the shore, and it was truly beautiful. I only know how to look at fish and don't know how to take pictures underwater. But the captain directed me where to swim and helped me capture these moments with great photos. Afterward, we moved a bit further by boat to the Gili Meno statues, and thanks to him, we were able to take good pictures there too. Even though we tried to time it right, there were more people than expected, making it hard to find a good moment to dive. But the captain signaled to us to help with the timing. Being a veteran, he even dove with us to the Gili Meno Nest statues 5 meters below and took pictures. Since there were two of us, he made sure to take photos of us diving separately and together, paying attention to get good shots. He also used his GoPro equipment for filming, so we received very clear and vivid photos and videos. (It's a shame that the review only allows uploading 3MB per photo, so I had to use quality-dropped pictures ㅠㅠ) Thanks to him, we were able to visit all the places we wanted to see in Gili and create many memorable moments. I inquired about a last-minute schedule change the day before my reservation, and they happily accommodated it! Communication was quick and efficient via WhatsApp, and they were already waiting at the meeting point sent through the app. 'Captain' and 'Joe' prioritized safety and did a great job assisting us with snorkeling. Both of them were incredibly kind, and we had a comfortable tour! We went on a private tour that was much cheaper than the resort-affiliated tours. Highly recommended! ^^7

On our honeymoon visit to Gili Island, we were able to see beautiful seas, wonderful coral reefs, and a variety of fish and turtles. Jo and Ari were excellent guides. They diligently searched for spots where we could encounter turtles and enthusiastically took videos and photos for us. They must have been tired during the two hours, but they remained kind and helpful until the very end. I hope others can also have a happy experience with them.

Wonderful experience! We managed to see amazing seabeds, many turtles, and fish. It was thrilling! The skippers are very attentive and accompany you throughout the tour; they are also very helpful with advice and needs. If you are in Gili Trawangan, you cannot miss this experience!

My husband, who can't swim at all, and I were so grateful to Ari and Win for helping us enjoy snorkeling comfortably and safely. They even showed us the turtle point and tried their best to take various photos and videos of us with a GoPro at several photo spots. We were a little late for our appointment, but they were understanding, which we appreciated! Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy our first snorkeling experience in Gili Trawangan. If you're going snorkeling, I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience. Everything was perfect, just as described. We saw turtles, and the guide was very patient in finding the right moments for us to take amazing photos. Then we saw the statues at Gili Meno and another spot to see corals and clownfish. Finally, we ate grilled fish on the beach at Gili Meno. They even showed us baby turtles. What can I say, one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, a must-do if you come to the Gili Islands.

What an experience - and one I would highly recommend to anyone! My boyfriend and I booked a private tour, and Win went above and beyond to make sure we had the most incredible time. He knew the best spots, away from the crowds, captured the best photos without us feeling like he was being invasive and also kindly guided us around the turtle sanctuary on Gili Meno. Our boat driver, Jody, was also fantastic. He ensured we entered and exited the water safely each time and made us feel very welcome. The boat was clean and felt very safe. The equipment was of high spec and the whole trip was seamless.
