Our tour of Nijo Castle with Naoya was an incredible experience. He was very professional, spoke excellent English, and explained the history of the site in a way that was both clear and engaging. The location itself is breathtaking, and having such a knowledgeable guide made it even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and truly great value for money. Highly recommended!

Perfect tour guided by Wajad, who was very well prepared on the story and events of the palace. It was nice to learn about the history of Japan, its emperors, and samurai. Just keep in mind that the location you receive by mail takes you to Gate 2, which is incorrect. You need to search for Gate No. 1 exit, which is directly in front of the palace.

Great tour with Dan. I loved his straightforward explanation of the sites within the castle. As much as I enjoy the fluff of myth and legend, it was nice to hear the actual reasoning behind the traditions and symbolisms. He also provided great recommendations for food after the tour.
