I came to Okinawa alone and went on a discovery dive! I was able to watch the safety video in Korean, and a female buddy was assigned to me. She mainly explained things in English, so there were no communication issues! The weather was good, so there was no problem entering the Blue Cave, haha. My buddy, who pulled me along and took many photos, worked very hard, and I thank her! Thank you for today! It was a pleasure being with you.
The Australian-Japanese coach was very dedicated! Although unable to speak Chinese, he used a tablet to play Chinese instructional videos to help tourists with diving safety precautions. After watching the video, he would teach all the hand gestures and procedures again in English. He also used a GoPro to help take photos and videos. It's better if you can speak English, as it helps with communication. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience! A reminder: at the Blue Cave, showering, lockers, and hair dryers all require cash coins! Make sure to bring several ¥100 coins, otherwise you won't be able to shower after getting out of the water.
Many thanks to my coach. Very responsible, high sense of security, detailed instructions. Good experience overall, except that the weather on the day of diving was not very good and the water was a bit turbid.
Très bonne expérience, le guide est très gentil et a même pris beaucoup de photos/vidéos ! L'endroit était incroyable mais le meilleur moment a été sans aucun doute le nourrissage des poissons ! Je me suis beaucoup amusé, merci 😊 🫶
On very windy days, cave entry is restricted. However, we move to a safe point to proceed with the experience, and this is also very satisfying. You can feed the fish, which is fun, and you can also learn to make donuts underwater. In particular, the instructor taught us well and was kind, so even though it was my first time diving, I followed along without any problems. You can book without worry. Instructor: The diving instructor is very professional and seems like they would quickly rescue you even if you drifted away. They have a lifeguard certification. They speak English well, so there are no communication problems at all. Experience: When moving to the safe zone, you choose between two places: a narrow and deep area or a wide and shallow area. I only tried the wide area, and going around it continuously requires quite a bit of stamina, more than I expected. If your stamina is not good, you might want to choose the deep area; if it is good, the wide area would be a good choice. Equipment: The oxygen tank is heavier than expected.
This booking truly exceeded expectations, a top-notch last-minute choice for people like me. I only booked the activity for the next morning at 5 PM the day before, and I brought my child who had just turned six. The key thing is, we were also late... I'm really sorry about that, but the instructor was a healthy, tanned young woman. At first, I thought she had a poker face, but she became increasingly nice, very, very nice, and her smile was especially beautiful. She took many photos for us, and took great care of my child throughout. Most importantly, she helped my child successfully learn to snorkel and enjoy the sea. I am truly grateful to her.
I initially booked with another company, but my reservation was immediately canceled. Here, even though I made a last-minute booking the day before, they accepted it right away. On the day, it was so windy that I thought, 'We won't be able to go to the Blue Cave,' and indeed, we couldn't. However, Kae-chan here recommended a great spot near the Churaumi Aquarium, so we went there together and enjoyed snorkeling, then went straight to the aquarium. Even though it was just my husband and me, thank you for guiding us so well and taking us to such a distant place. Thank you, Kae-chan! The sea was truly beautiful♥️
Equipment: The overall equipment is very complete, but you need to prepare your own swimsuit; other things are not really necessary (long-haired girls can prepare a hair tie like me, to keep hair out of their eyes). Coach: The coach is a Japanese girl, and her explanations are very clear (there are Chinese videos). If your English is good enough for daily conversation, you basically don't need to worry about communication issues. She constantly checked my safety and comfort underwater, very responsible! Experience: It was very dreamy underwater, the reefs were like mountains in the sea. A beam of azure light shone down from the Blue Hole, and schools of fish danced within it. As a first-time scuba diver, I think the Blue Hole is truly beginner-friendly while offering a full experience. Highly recommended!
We didn't get to go to the Blue Grotto... it's a shame, because the waves were too big. I hope we can go to the Blue Grotto next time. By the way, the Japanese instructors also speak simple English, so foreign visitors don't need to worry too much.
The coach was very patient, and the overall experience was very smooth. The scenery was beautiful, and we spent a long time underwater, where we could also feed fish and take photos. When we left, the big brother even gave us their exclusive stickers. It was a very pleasant experience.
