Dinner is interesting, with some of the actors being interactive. The dishes are pretty, but please don't expect it to be a Michelin-star restaurant. I like the show throughout dinner as it has a good theme.

The performers truly transported us back to the Tang Dynasty, and they had multiple interactions with us, the diners, making it a truly immersive dining experience.

It is recommended to arrive early. Free Hanfu is provided (a deposit of ¥500 is required), and makeup and styling are extra. For seating, it's best to choose the second row near the exit. This way, your view won't be blocked by pillars, you'll have a comprehensive view, and you won't feel the pressure of dining in the first row (the first row is very close to the stage, with performers' feet right in front of your food. It's quite strenuous to eat while constantly looking up at the performance. Although you can interact closely with the performers, it can easily affect the overall viewing and dining experience, so sitting in the first row is not recommended). The food is rich and exquisite, and the performances are lively, just like attending a royal banquet. Highly recommended!

It's quite good value, the dishes taste great, and the staff are very well-dressed. Dining while watching a performance is a nice experience. The only drawback is that the second-row seats don't have a view of the 'throne' (main stage), as it's blocked by a large pillar. The waitstaff's responsiveness is average; we had to remind them to refill water and tea.

Since it's a rare opportunity to experience this, I definitely had to choose the first-person perspective! During the performance, I couldn't take my eyes off it and was recording and taking photos the whole time. After each performance, a dish would be served, so I barely had time to eat. The timing was a bit tight, but the performances were all great! Experiencing and checking in at the imperial banquet is a very special experience. Wearing Tang Dynasty attire to enter makes you feel fully immersed, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It's definitely worth trying and quite interesting! 🥰

The food was served in small portions, and it was quite a busy experience eating while watching the show, but it was novel. Originally, I booked a second-row seat through Klook, but it wasn't available, so it was changed to the third/fourth row. When we arrived, they said there were second-row seats available but required an extra charge. In the end, we didn't pay extra because some of those seats were behind pillars, which would obstruct the view. This time, we sat in the fourth row, four seats from the exit, and it felt okay. However, if you want to enter the 'Chang'an Twelve Hours' exhibition, you need to purchase an additional ticket.

It was actually confusing for us when we first arrived. The door is correct, but you need to have the proper QR code to get the service. We were confused as the QR code didn't arrive until later. But the ladies there are very helpful and give good suggestions.

So much fun to attend this banquet. Very unique concept and the food is great. Actors perform well. Go early to chope better seats as it is first come first serve

The food quality is average, nothing outstanding. The ambiance is good, with dance performances, but it's not worth the high price. It feels like you're paying for the atmosphere. It's fine for a one-time experience.
