When traveling to Xi'an, China, the Terracotta Army and the "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" performance are arguably the main attractions. So, I looked around various platforms, and since VIP tickets were only sold on Klook, I immediately purchased them. VIP ticket holders have a separate entrance, a waiting area before the performance, and are offered tea and coffee. I was worried about the February performance and bundled up, but Xi'an in February was warmer than I expected. Most importantly, the seats had heating... and warm tea was also provided, so I watched the performance without feeling cold. It was wonderful.

Excelente espectáculo al aire libre con una montaña como telón de fondo del escenario. El escenario y las actuaciones te dejarán sin aliento. Es único en su clase. Llega temprano para tomar fotos, ya que el paisaje y la zona son hermosos. Muy recomendado.

Este fue, sin duda, uno de los espectáculos más sensacionales que he visto en mi vida. Ambientado en el majestuoso Palacio de Huaqing en Xi'an, toda la actuación fue simplemente espectacular. Great show, absolutely recommended! The only deduction is due to the booking process. I tried twice to book tickets for different days that were shown as available. After payment, I immediately received a cancellation email with information about the refund. Finally, I managed to get a ticket for the next best category. However, I received an email regarding this, stating that the time had been moved to 10 PM or that only one ticket was available for that time. Otherwise, I could receive a full refund. I gratefully accepted. Communication via email was smooth. If you are somewhat flexible with your time, you should not miss the show. It is spectacular! On the premises, I was approached by an employee regarding priority entry for a price of approx. €7. It was said that about 3200 people would attend the show and therefore there would be long queues. I could wait in the back with a cup of tea and would then be escorted to my seat. I accepted the offer. The waiting area was next to the stage. There was tea and sunflower seeds for snacking. Unfortunately, the extra charge was not worth it. I was only taken to the stairs where my seating category was located. Most of the other guests were already there, and I was one of the last. I then had to ask for my seat. Therefore, I cannot recommend the prioritized access. The show runs for 1 hour. Public transport was no longer available at 11 PM. But it was no problem to get a taxi at the taxi stand at the metro station. It took us a little over 1 hour to get to the hotel, and I only paid €13.15 - so super cheap compared to Germany.

extraordinary experience. the artistic was very impressive like looking to live performance with real enormous mountain scenery as the background and very superb stages. the performance in my opinion is perfect with lots of real fire that we can feel the heat and also real water fountain and screen that we can fell the cold vapor.

The Song of Everlasting Sorrow is an evening performance, with impressive lighting and stage effects. The entire Huaqing Pool and Mount Li are transformed into part of the stage, which is quite remarkable.

The stage production and performance are amazing. It's best to understand the story before going to the show so that you can have a clear understanding of the overall performance. The show is outdoors, so it will be cold during winter; just make sure to keep yourself warm.

It is a must-watch show when you come to Xi'an, China. It's a love story about Yang Guifei. The show was truly amazing and interesting as the stage is outdoors. 100% recommend!

Managed to secure tickets through Klook. Highly recommended to anyone going to Xi'an. This is the best outdoor performance I have ever watched. The lighting, sound effects, and stage visuals were amazing. Definitely a highlight of my Xi'an trip.
