BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Pheobe and Sue were so nice and welcoming, providing us with a tour of Mangwon market where we saw different things and bought ingredients needed to make our food! We even got to try kimchi jeon (pancake) & buchu jeon ,, sooo yummy!!

Phoebe is my absolute favorite host! She was kind, patient, and accommodating to my husband’s dietary restriction (gluten-free). We had so much fun learning cultural insights and new Korean words, along with cooking delicious food! I highly recommend making a stop here if you are interested in learning how to make authentic and delicious Korean food.

Phoebe's class was such a cherished memory for me on my solo trip in Seoul. The tour she led through the Mangwon Market was so informative and refreshing. It really is where the locals shop for ingredients. She and her husband were so welcoming and lively to be around during the tour. I was the only one who signed up for this day, and they still made my experience so special. The cooking lesson back at her studio was so professional, yet had an air of authenticity and home to it. I loved it so much! I wish that many people get to experience Phoebe's class when they come to Korea because it is a stop that should not be missed. And the food I had as leftovers in the evening was so good I was still eating it for breakfast the next morning! Thank you, Phoebe, at Seoul Foodventure!

It was a great experience from start to finish! The entire group also got along wonderfully! We had fun together, and at the same time, we saw, heard, and learned so many new things at the market! Afterwards, the cooking. It was explained very clearly and simply – it was no problem for any age group to follow along and keep up. It was simply perfect! I can only recommend it.

I really enjoyed this cooking class. The recipes are easy for first-timers in the kitchen but still super delicious. I like that these are "normal people food" which can also be made back home. The market tour at the beginning with all the explanations made this experience even more interesting. Highly recommend this one!

I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic and hands-on introduction to Korean cuisine! Phoebe was an incredible teacher! She is friendly, knowledgeable, and full of energy, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We started with a trip to the local market, where she guided us through traditional Korean ingredients, explained their uses, and even helped us pick out the right ones for other dishes we wanted to try making at home. Her expertise and enthusiasm made the learning process so much fun. Back in the kitchen, she provided clear, step-by-step instructions, ensuring we felt confident in recreating each dish. The food turned out absolutely delicious, and we can't wait to make these recipes at home. If you're in Korea and love food, this class is a must!

Phoebe’s classroom has been up and running for two months now, and it’s absolutely spotless and cozy. She kicked things off by taking us to the market to stock up on all the essentials. It was a blast, and Phoebe showed us all sorts of Korean foods and traditions as we strolled through the shops. Back in the classroom, Phoebe went into great detail about the recipes, but cooking wasn’t just about mixing ingredients. It really required some skills and handwork. That was perfect for those who were looking for a fun and hands-on experience. The gyeranjim-making process was particularly interesting. After cooking, we got to enjoy our creations and chat with each other about different countries. As a little token of appreciation, Phoebe gave us a kimbap wrapping tool and even sent us the recipes for the day so we could try them out at home.

We really enjoyed ourselves. This cooking class is one of the best we have been to. We would love to do it again. Thank you
