Le temps en Normandie est capricieux et il faisait maussade lors de notre visite. Néanmoins, le Mont Saint-Michel était magnifique et valait le détour. Bien que le trajet de 4 heures aller simple ait été long, le voyage était confortable avec une pause toilettes entre les deux. Les deux guides ont fourni d'excellentes informations et ont été très serviables. Le restaurant recommandé pour le déjeuner était également bon.

Mont Saint-Michel, located very far from Paris, is convenient to visit by tour. The round trip takes about 4-5 hours by car, with a stop at a rest area where you can use the restroom and buy food. We arrived at Mont Saint-Michel around 12 PM and had to return to the parking lot for pickup at 4:15 PM. From the parking lot to Mont Saint-Michel, you need to take a shuttle bus. On the way back, there was a long queue, with buses arriving every 5 minutes. It's recommended to allow 20-30 minutes for queuing and waiting for the bus. The scenery at Mont Saint-Michel is incredibly beautiful, and the observation deck at the very top offers panoramic views. However, on the return journey, our tour bus broke down midway, and we had to wait in a park for the tour company to make arrangements. The tour company's arrangements were very poor; we waited a full 4 hours for another tour bus to pick us up and take us back to Paris. We didn't get back to Paris until 2:15 AM local time. Our request for a full refund ultimately resulted in only a small amount being returned. This was a very bad experience.

Many people arrived 45 minutes before the scheduled half-hour meeting time. Following the instructions of the staff in vests, we went to the meeting point, where we were given stickers to assign us to groups, and then boarded the bus according to our groups. The bus was very comfortable and had two levels, with USB charging ports available. The journey took 4-5 hours, with one stop at a rest area for restrooms and shopping (approximately 15-30 minutes). However, there were long queues for tourists, so it might be more convenient to bring your own food. We arrived around 12:30 PM and gathered to leave at 4:20 PM. From the parking lot, we needed to take a shuttle bus to the destination, which involved a 10-15 minute wait in line. Although there were many people, there were also frequent shuttle services. There were a lot of tourists, so queuing for food took some time; it might be better to eat on the bus before exploring.

I only booked the entrance ticket to the Abbey. Redeeming the voucher is easy; just show them the QR code/barcode, and that's it. (I recommend taking a screenshot of the barcode, as I found the data coverage in the area to sometimes be weak.) Another benefit of visiting the Abbey is that you get to go to the top of the entire castle to see the view.

Belle expérience. Tout le voyage s'est bien passé même si à la dernière heure du voyage il a plu et grêlé. Nous sommes rentrés sains et saufs et à l'heure à Paris. Le guide a fait un excellent travail en rappelant aux gens d'être ponctuels 👏👏👏

Mont Saint-Michel is very, very far and difficult to reach. Joining a tour is convenient, but the journey takes about 4-5 hours. The driver will stop at a rest area for restrooms and snacks. On the day of my visit, there was some traffic, so we actually arrived at Mont Saint-Michel at 1:00 PM, and we had to return to the parking lot for collection at 4:30 PM. From the parking lot to Mont Saint-Michel, you need to take a shuttle bus. There were many people queuing, but the speed was quite fast, with a bus every 5 minutes. I recommend allowing 20-30 minutes for queuing and waiting for the bus. Mont Saint-Michel is incredibly beautiful, with many seagulls. The observation deck at the very top offers a panoramic view, which is stunning. The omelet, highly recommended online, was just okay for me; it was a bit too dry (even though it's a Michelin Plate recommendation). Mont Saint-Michel at night with the lights on should be even more beautiful, but if you join a tour, you won't be able to see it at night. If you want to see it lit up at night, I suggest staying there for a night.

Everything was excellent. Our guide Nina was amazing, she explained everything throughout the trip, gave a lot of useful information, and answered all our questions. The driver was excellent. Thank you for the unforgettable moments.
