Hannah was a great host! Super fun night, great locations, great food and great company.

I thought the guides were fantastic. I thought the food could have had better options; it was a little bit all the same, but learning about the history and culture from the girls was really good.

It was a bit disappointing that the meal menu and food preparation took a long time. However, the guide was kind and friendly, so we had a pleasant time.

The guide was a young man and new to being a guide. Two of the three izakayas were good, but one was terrible. The first izakaya specialized in gyoza and was good with freshly made gyoza. We had them with beer. The cost per person at the first place was 1800. The second place was terrible—hot, cramped, and the food was really bad. We had one drink, and the cost was 2300, which was at least double the price if I had been there myself. A rip-off. The third place was sake tasting, and that was fun. They should disclose how much you will pay before you book. The cost per person for drinks and light food was 7200, which is very expensive given what we got. It was hard to understand the guide as his English was not very good. I would not recommend unless they pick a better place to replace the second place.

I booked this tour, then 30 minutes before we were to meet our guides, they sent us a WhatsApp message saying we needed to pay them 10,000 Yen in cash before the tour started for food and drink. The tour description stated that food and beverages were not included. We were planning on paying for what we ordered and drank at each bar. At the time of this posting, 10,000 Yen is almost $64 USD per person, which is a lot considering the price for food and beer. We felt like it was a bait and switch and asked for our money back. Unfortunately, they only gave us half of our money back. Glad we didn't end up going. The tour was too big anyway, 27 people! The bars are so small that I have no idea how they found places large enough for everyone. I wish they would have given me back my full payment. Be careful before booking with this group.
