I highly recommend this; I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't booked it. My sister and I traveled together, and our driver and guide, Nicolas, accommodated all our needs and explained everything so well. Thank you so much, Nicolas! We frequently stopped for restrooms and took a long time taking photos, but he patiently showed us great photo spots and guided us perfectly, understanding our needs. Even when it rained, he had a large umbrella ready, and he recommended souvenir shops and great restaurants, making it the best trip ever. His excellent English and detailed explanations greatly helped us understand Taiwan. I highly recommend a private tour over a bus tour. Thank you so much!!

Driver Xiao Lin's meticulous and flexible service made me feel even more warmly towards Taiwan. The driver would notify us 15 minutes before arriving at our pick-up location, a thoughtful gesture that truly earned our appreciation. Because Xiao Lin considered the feelings of tourists, this action did not disrupt our travel plans in Taiwan. During the journey to Shifen and Jiufen, he also helped us take beautiful photos. Moreover, he would arrange the timing of our visits to all attractions based on various traffic conditions. On the return journey, Xiao Lin, with his rich driving experience, was able to find a quick and relatively clear route to take us back to the hotel even during peak hours. On the day we traveled to Jiufen and Shifen, Xiao Lin made our entire trip very fulfilling. Grateful. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thanks to the kind driver Caleb, my mother and I successfully completed our first overseas 효도 (filial piety) tour! Other bus tours are well-organized, but I wanted a private trip, so I chose a taxi tour, haha. He drove comfortably and well, and gave us plenty of time at each tour spot, so there was no problem with sightseeing! He was fluent in English, so there were no issues with communication, haha. I asked to be dropped off at a night market instead of our accommodation, and he accommodated us~ This might vary among guides, but it seems okay to discuss and adjust the itinerary! Thanks to him, I also bought delicious pineapple cakes and nougat crackers cheaply, haha. Thank you, Caleb :)

My sisters and I are so glad we did this private tour! Our tour guide was Henry. He came earlier than the scheduled time and we had a chance to eat breakfast at a spot he recommended before we started the tour. We went to Shifen waterfall, released a lantern at Shifen, took a pit stop at Keelung market for lunch, visited Houtong cat village, then ended the tour at Jiufen. The original tour comes with a ride back to your accommodations but we wanted to spend more time at Jiufen, so Henry helped us by giving us directions on how to get back. Henry was a very knowledgeable tour guide and told us facts about Taiwan we would have otherwise not known about if we had planned the trip ourselves. He helped us take photos and was very prepared for Taiwan’s rain and humidity. He gave us a bunch of recommendations which we really appreciate! I would 100% recommend this private tour. It felt like traveling with a friend and was a highlight of our Taiwan trip! :)

This tour was amazing! Sean, our wonderful guide, picked us up promptly from the hotel at the agreed time and took us on an amazing tour of Jiufen waterfall, Houston Cat Village and Shifen. Sean was very knowledgeable and took us to the best places for photos and through all of the popular spots. He also took us to a nearby town to Jiufen so that we could launch a paper lantern on a railway track too. I really enjoyed the tour, would recommend to anyone looking at this. Jackson is a great tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. He communicated with us before departure and during so that we saw all the places we wanted to and made it back in plenty of time for our dinner reservation. He also recommended favorite spots and photo opportunities during the tour as well as tips for places to visit for this stay and any other future visits to Taiwan. A great experience and wonderful having a tour guide fluent in Chinese (multiple dialects) and English so that everyone in the party could enjoy. Highly recommended!

Our guide was very pleasant and easy to talk to. The itinerary he prepared for us was very time efficient. He knows a lot about the places he brought us to. Also he had really great playlist that made the transfers fun and long time lively. Overall we had a really great tour. We highly recommend it!
