Vale de Eobi, Colheita de Frutas e Tour de Pesca no Gelo de Hwacheon Sancheoneo

The overall itinerary was very well arranged, with plenty of time, making it a great experience. Eobi Ice Valley, which we originally wanted to visit, was closed due to weather, so we changed to Gapyeong Begonia Bird Park. Unexpectedly, the garden was very beautiful for photos 🤣 and there are some small animals and birds here, making it very suitable for family travel. Morningcalm at night, after the lights were turned on, was truly beautiful 👍🏻 worth a visit! Finally, I want to thank Brother Zhao, who was both our driver and guide, he was very friendly.

Micheal was a great tour guide and driver. Very friendly and considerate. The food was great, not the regular tour eating place but a nursery cafe. However, Eboi valley was a bit disappointing and nothing much to do, it didn't even have ice. The rest was great, the strawberries were fragrant, sweet and big. Alpaca was a great place too.

The tour guide was very nice. We requested to leave earlier due to a change in our travel plans, and the guide drove us to the nearest train station. We appreciate their help and extend our gratitude.

Marcos is a great guide. He has a lot of knowledge, is very accommodating, and communicated well with us before the tour started. He even texted us the day before to confirm, which was very nice.

The Hwacheon Ice Fishing Festival is packed with activities! Besides fishing, you can also enjoy sledding and slides. Our guide, Kay, was incredibly enthusiastic and responsible! She even taught us how to fish for trout. It's definitely worth a visit, 10/10, and I would recommend it to other friends.

The trip started on time and ended an hour early. We first went to a remote location for strawberry picking. It was a good thing that there were no other guests at that time but us. Then, we went to Eobi Valley. The van had to be parked 500 meters away from the actual attraction site. The guide said that we may have to shell out money for the parking fee if we were to use the nearby parking space, which was weird because I thought that the fee was already covered. But going back, the guide picked us up near the site, saving us from walking through the snow. After which, we went to a K-BBQ place to eat lunch. The place was great, and we were the first customers there! Then, we went to Alpaca World. The guide let us decide how long we wanted to stay there, and we agreed to stay 2.5 hours. Finally, we went back to Seoul. The guide was really nice and kind, like a great uncle to everyone. I just wish that we had stayed a bit longer at each place or added more places to the itinerary.

The itinerary was pretty good, but a one-day trip with travel time felt a bit rushed. At Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival, there was only fishing and the ice sculpture plaza, plus one grilled fish. Other activities like sledding and snow tubing required cash payment and couldn't use the substitute currency. Families with children might be a bit disappointed!

The tour guide was remarkable, patient, and approachable with us throughout the trip.
