Excursão de um dia a Itoshima: Cataratas Shiraito, Santuário Miyajidake, Floresta Ichiran, Penhasco de Casais Sakurai Futamiura, Asas de Anjo e Balanço de Coqueiros (Partida de Fukuoka)

I participated in two KLOOK day tours during my trip to Fukuoka. The first trip was to "Yufuin and Nyoirin-ji Temple." The tour guide for this group, Ms. "Li Jing," was very responsible. The day before the trip, she sent an email with information about the guide and the meeting point. However, for the "Itoshima" trip, I received absolutely no information about the guide or meeting arrangements the day before. I was very worried and sent several emails to customer service and the supplier, but it was completely useless; there was no response at all. But with the experience from the first trip, I decided to arrive early at the first day's meeting point that morning to inquire. That morning, I first asked a guide wearing a KLOOK vest, but it wasn't the right one. That guide told me that if I hadn't received the guide's information, I would have to ask each group at the site. Yes, that's right! I really did have to ask group by group. It was ridiculous! In the end, of course, I found the right group. The rest of the itinerary was very smooth and wonderful, but the only drawback was this issue with contacting the guide. If you encounter the same problem as me, just go to the site and ask. If you don't go, it's equivalent to giving up! >_<

This tour was mostly Taiwanese and Chinese people, and I was the only Japanese person. The driver guided in Chinese but could speak Japanese, so he explained many things on the bus just for me. He always paid attention to me and spoke to me wherever we went, which made it enjoyable. To visit so many tourist spots, you would normally need to rent a car or use buses and trains, but financially and time-wise, it's definitely better to use this tour. I had a very good day, and I'm truly glad I went.

December 28, 2025: My first trip to Fukuoka with my family, we bought a package tour. It was my first time seeing snow in Japan, and we even had a small snowball fight. Our tour guide told us that the group from the day before couldn't make it up because of the snow on the ground. We were lucky today; although there wasn't much snow, it was still a great experience. The scenery in Itoshima was truly beautiful, and the coconut trees were lovely too. We had a lot of fun on the swings and it was also perfect for taking photos. The Ichiran factory is also a great place for an outing. For lunch, our guide arranged for us to eat Ichiran ramen. We heard it was the main branch, so we didn't have to queue outside with everyone else, which was also a great treat. Finally, at Miyajidake Shrine, enjoying delicious food and watching the sunset was a truly perfect combination. So happy, so happy!

Dankbar, dass ich mich für diese Tour entschieden habe. Das ist perfekt für den Herbst. Blätter und Bäume sind atemberaubend! Der Sakurai-Schrein ist wie auf einer Postkarte! Sehr schön! Schade, dass man am Strand nicht schwimmen darf. :(

Logistikken var enkel, og Mr. Wang, guiden vår, var veldig hyggelig og kunnskapsrik. Vi fikk god hjelp der vi trengte veiledning. Stedene vi besøkte var rett og slett nydelige. Bildene som er vedlagt taler for seg selv.

We had a very good experience with this tour. Small group only of 10pax which is very much okay. Though we are not Chinese/Japanese speaking, the driver/guide still managed to communicate with us using Google Translate. This is a must-have if you plan to go to Fukuoka.

We joined this tour on November 21, 2024. The tour departed at 8:30 AM and we returned to Hakata around 4 PM. I found this tour to be on the pricey side compared to the other two-day trips I took to Miyazaki and Mount Aso. We departed earlier and returned later. The driver was also the tour guide; he was good and shared some history of Kyushu with us. He communicated to the group in both Mandarin and Japanese. We weren't able to take the boat ride because the waves were strong, but the company paid for our ramen at Ichiran. The six places we visited were good, especially the waterfall and the beach, which were beautiful. Itoshima requires driving or taking public buses, but the schedule isn't frequent. Therefore, joining the tour worked well for us. Thanks to the driver for the safe ride. We enjoyed our day.

I booked this tour and didn't realize it was with a Chinese-speaking guide. It didn't matter, my new friends from Hong Kong helped me have one of the best days I've spent in Japan. The highlights were so many waterfalls, an incredible ramen factory lunch (unbelievable, I had to pinch myself), the white torii gates in the sea (life-changing), and me on a swing at the beach, which finished off an incredible three weeks in Japan. Klook made it very easy, thank you.

It was a wonderful trip with many places to visit. As it was a Sunday and Monday was a public holiday in Japan, it was quite crowded. We waited about 40 minutes for Yilan ramen. Our driver, Mr. Zhang, made the journey interesting and provided information about the venues.

It's a very relaxing day, and I recommend scheduling it for the last day or second-to-last day of your Fukuoka itinerary (the very last day can be reserved for a city walk in Fukuoka itself). Today's itinerary isn't as spectacular as others, like visiting a volcano, but you can visit six or seven places and see some very relaxing sights, especially going to the seaside. So, I suggest wearing light-colored or contrasting clothes for better photos. If you're well-prepared, you can bring swimsuits and trunks to enjoy a little play at the beach. I also want to give a special shout-out to our tour guide, Xiao Te, who was incredibly dedicated and explained every place thoroughly and comprehensively.
