This tea ceremony experience is highly, highly recommended to everyone 🥹. Ms. Sunagawa truly loves the tea ceremony, and she shared many interesting facts about it with me. She also patiently explained anything I didn't understand during her detailed lecture. I really can't recommend her enough! 👍 The tea ceremony experience itself was also incredibly memorable. Understanding the beauty of the tea ceremony makes me want to try practicing it myself when I get back, to become more familiar with it 🍵. Many thanks to Ms. Sunagawa for organizing this event! It gave me the opportunity to learn more about the history of the tea ceremony and the differences between various types of tea. I never realized there was so much to learn (｡ì _ í｡). Also, Ms. Sunagawa knows a little Chinese, so friends interested in the tea ceremony should definitely join this experience! ✨

Great and excellent activity, you learn the basics and important aspects of a tea ceremony, prepare your matcha (delicious), and also learn about its origin and the history behind it. The master is very pleasant, and although the class is in English, he knows a few words in Spanish (hearing your language in another country always feels nice ☺️). I booked it at the last minute, and it was a great decision.

The owner's kind guidance made the experience enjoyable. It was an informative time as they thoroughly explained the history, types, and tea ceremony etiquette of matcha. The venue where the experience took place was also very clean and tidy, and the kimono experience added a unique touch. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about matcha!

The guide was very knowledgeable about traditional tea ceremonies and taught us a lot. He was also very kind, patient, and made everyone feel comfortable :) The quality of the tea was great, the space was very clean, there was a good selection of kimonos, and the environment felt very safe/welcoming. It was a great experience overall and I would highly recommend!

Very nice and informative experience. They really took their time with us, the young man (unfortunately I forgot his name) spoke excellent English, and you could tell that everything about tea was his absolute passion. He discussed cultivation, the historical background (Matcha originally comes from China!), and all possible questions were happily answered. I now know which type of Matcha best suits my taste, what I need to look out for when buying souvenirs, and all sorts of other exciting things about Matcha (and tea in general). The kimonos were also a nice addition, and they took plenty of time for photos. In summary: Great value for money, I can only recommend it. :))

What a great experience! The activity was very interesting: we received a lot of information, but time flew by! Being in "easy to wear kimonos" is also very pleasant, it's much more immersive 😊 And to top it all off, the guide is very friendly and cheerful, and you can tell he's passionate and knowledgeable about everything related to matcha... In short, not to be missed! 😁

The matcha and Kimono Experience was so lovely. I know now so much about tea, matcha and the tea ceremony. It was really interesting to learn where matcha came from and how to drink and make it properly :D Thank you so much for the lovely hours.
