The hotel rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is on the 2nd floor with decent food. It's a 10-minute taxi ride to Sunac Mall. Sunac Mall is a large shopping center (the famous indoor venue in Guangzhou for snow and skiing activities), with many restaurants on the 5th floor and excellent play areas for children inside the mall.

Indeed, without comparison, there's no harm done 😂. The hotel package I bought the night before last for the Steigenberger Hotel included visits to Sunac Land and Snow World. I felt those places were a bit old, and the bedding had a sweaty smell 😔. Last night, I switched to the Hampton by Hilton hotel. This place is much newer and cleaner, and the service in all aspects is more thoughtful. Although it's a bit far from Sunac Mall, costing 13 yuan by taxi, the overall feeling is so much better. Plus, it has a self-service laundry room with complete washing, drying, and ironing facilities. The cleaning auntie checks it every half hour, so I finally got to wash the dirty clothes from the past few days, which will make returning to Hong Kong much easier 😅 (Every time I travel, I have to wash several loads of clothes when I get back 🤣).

The surrounding environment is good, the staff's service attitude is excellent, the indoor environment is comfortable, and the buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious food.

The hotel seemed to ignore guests smoking; as soon as I opened the room door, there was a strong smell of smoke, so I had to change rooms immediately. The breakfast selection was very limited, but since children ate for free, I made do. To exchange ski tickets, I couldn't use the self-service machine and had to queue. The queue was very long (it wasn't a public holiday). The ski resort was crowded, and I waited a long time to rent ski clothes. The clothes smelled strongly of sweat, and I had to try several sets before finding a better one. For lockers, only one was provided for four people initially; I had to ask again to get another one, but the two lockers were far apart, and the locker area was very narrow. There was a KFC inside the ski resort, which was very popular. For the circus, I first had to exchange the Klook barcode for a circus voucher at "Hot Snow Miracle," then go to the ticket office at the entrance of Sunac Land to exchange it for a circus admission ticket, and then enter Sunac Land to watch. I didn't pay attention and thought I could exchange it directly at the park entrance, which led to me having to go back to "Hot Snow Miracle" to exchange it, which was extremely annoying. Apart from the strange calligraphy and painting sales at the beginning, the circus was quite spectacular, but there were no animals throughout the show; it should probably be called an acrobatics troupe. The opening hours of Sunac Land stated online were completely inaccurate; don't trust them. It said it opened at noon, but when I arrived at 11 AM, I saw it was already open. When I asked a staff member, they said it had opened at 9:30 AM that day. Outside the entrance, people were hawking discounted tickets, but using them was quite troublesome, so I don't recommend being tempted by a few tens of yuan in discounts.
