This is value for money! We had a great tour guide who explained things very well. He also wasn't rushing us, as some of us can't cope with fast walking. Highly recommended!

The meeting point is not easy to understand. It's about a 5-minute walk east of St. Mark's Basilica. You need to look for Campo San Zaccaria, as marked on the map. There's a small square there, and you report to a tour shop next to it (as shown in the photo). The guide explained the characteristics of Venice and the church quite thoroughly. The ticket price includes access to the upper level and balcony of the church, which is a good option if you want to save time.
Upon arrival at the designated location, there will be a check-in counter where you will confirm your registration, receive a tour headset, and be informed of your tour number. Unfortunately, the guide's accent was quite strong this time, which made it a bit challenging if you hadn't done your homework beforehand.

The tour guide did not explain the historical details of the cathedral. So it made no difference that I bought the ticket at the official ticket office.
Gondola ride was ok, it was a bit messy at the meeting point as there were a few tours that met at the same location. Be prepared to wait till exactly the starting time stated! Would be good to have known what the tour company was called and also provide a point of contact after booking was completed. The tour to St Mark's Basilica was conducted by a very knowledgeable guide. It was worth the money to see how the beautiful interior and actually learn about it's history.
The tour guide was very informative and gave a clear explanation of each detail of the church. We learned a great deal about the Basilica, which we wouldn't have been able to if we had gone alone. Best of all, no queuing was required.
